interesting game...i was just getting going as well......i didnt
get into monarchy until 2050 BC which is killer....too many huts.......and one square seperated me from greatness..... i thought i had explored the area well enough , but i left one square on the isthmus and sure enough it conected the land at the middle point.....

oh well...good game that was fun...i am sure you were kicking on the PG but i only had two less cities i think..and i would have built mono and gone repub so...who knows....

i assume you lost connection when you didn't respond to my icq...or it ddidn't go thru...

anyways that was a blast.....see everyone on friday.....i am off to trap some Canadian Beaver

The wife and daughter are boarding a plane for FLORIDA.
FREEDOM....which means civ and golf.
(damn, when I was younger it might have meant something else)
Unfortunately I have to work today, but got in at 6:30 so not planning on staying around all day.

Since Ming will be occupied. I'll be at home for tonight's session.

Hopefully I'll be home around 4:30 My time. If we can find four early, I'll go. Barono said he would be home early, (but still 7:30 my time) If we can start 2 hours before that, I don't think he will begrudge us not waiting for him.

ah so that was common terry....... i knew he went by another name other than the icq one......kewl, i don't think he and i had played in a loooooong time.....yes the pg was close..i had philo in 2650 IIRC but then my game was cut down by damm barbs coming out of the black..why common was able to beat me to a silk on the river....

though with suns and leos...my army was just about to kick into high gear...even with Terry stealing more tech than i can remember early in the game...

all in all it was fun, and good practice for me.....

No guys....no Common Terry involved....just me. Game was great fun and good experience for me....havent played 2x1x or on a small map for a couple years. Hopefully I provide more of a challenge next time......
