That is a good compromise.

However, here is the only other problem that I can foresee: who can vote in each section. How do you decide voting rights? Do you go by which section the voters post most in... There could be possibility for abuse saying UNLESS... The nominations are only allowed by people who are well known in the section and accepted as regular posters in that section

this could be hard to describe- for, would you consider korn a civ III sectioner because of Civ III the list, even though you do not post heavily in the civ III section; at least as heavily as you once did (or so I assume, I may be correct- but in theory, what I say would apply to anyone)
