All right, game on:
- Stalingrad captured! In a desperate gamble encompassing thousands of partisans, nearby garrison troops, bombers from Moscow, tanks from Gorkiy, and a brilliant amphibious operation from the Caspian Sea, the Red Army annihilated a full 5 divisions of crack Panzergrenadiers and a further three divisions of German infantry, and innumerable Soviet divisions reoccupied what was left of Stalin's namesake city, much to his delight. Unfortunately we do not expect to hold the city in light of the numerous fascist armored divisions holed up in quality siege fortresses west of it, but we'll see.
- Four Wehrmacht infantry divisions south of Leningrad cut to ribbons by a Soviet battleship.
- Two stray Panzer IV divisions northwest of Moscow were destroyed by Russian bombers.

Smith, Wesson, and the RODINA!!!

In this 2194 thread starting up at Civfan, I offered a solution to this AA Battery phenomenon, which I have seen at least once in every 2194 PBEM attempt. Whatever the glitch is, we agreed to simply edit the rules file so that the AA batteries have a movement of 1. This way we can be certain that Ctrl-n's will work.
Now obviously the units had 0 movement for a reason; such as preventing unbeatable stacks. That is why it would become an official house rule that no one, under any circumstances, move the AA Batteries. It would just be considered a remedy to a glitch; not a scenario change. Furthermore, any taking advantage of this change for gameplay would be easily detected and considered cheating.
Klesh condoned it there, and I wonder if you guys would allow it here as the house rule would make the gameplay exactly the same. At least then Russia could have half a chance, so I would suspect that at least ANZAC and Case wouldn't object.
