I think a number I listed have more interesting Diplomacy than Risk or Axis

Axis might be somewhat better, but still the game is basically decided by one attack between Russia and Germany

I mostly only play Risk or Axis if I cannot convince peoiple to play one of the others listed

Sammurai Swords (?) is another good one for like circumstances

(I don't think I have played Empires in Arms, I definitely don't own it

Maybe so but I have never seen a game of CTP end up in a fist fight I have mutated a few of these games add fortress america to aa and it makes for one hel* of a challenge. Anyone here taken over england in aa?

What about panzer general or warhammer 40k?

I played kingmaker a few times but never found the game to buy it..

CTP is awesome...especcially PBEM. Its a Civ spinoff actually. But most would say its better. Lots of diplomacy in PBEM. LOTS...its a Cpu game of course. Great graphics and all...

Oh Ive been a few CTP fist fights. Usaully the thing that makes all the difference is technology. Lots of players online will get gunpowder and then start forming attacks. Not me, I always defend until Fascism or Communism. Usaully Fascism, because Fascist has massive edge over poor muskets and cannons...lol. Mow them suckers down. Its like that until it becomes a modern match......But I has once fought bravely and was at the door of Nimrods capital, and then I was attacked from behind bye felix.
