OK, fair enough. We thought it would be an improvement but if it is not......

Does everybody agree to put the French and the Chinese on AI while Birdman takes over India?

If so, tell me again how to put someone on AI and I will do it after you all agree or within 48 hours. Whatever comes first.

I will also open a new thread with the current players after I am done with it.

I read in the documentation that you can use the /attach "player#" command from the chat window to do this. w/o quotation marks of course

Hm, did not get a mail regarding jpww's message and thought no one responded and the game died. Sorry about that. Well, Keygen was off-line anyway but... he is back.

I tried jpww's solution but it did not work. I played some turns and still got the French.

I used the chat window and entered:
/attach player1 [Enter]
/attach player5 [Enter].

Did I do anything wrong? I remember something about having to be the game originator (so the chinese). Is that correct?

Yes, you did Frans

You should type /attach 1 and not /attach player1.
Also if you want to bring a civilization from AI back to human I think you type /detach 1.

Anyway, I got a responce from Nuke and he confirmed his interest to return. And I think we should give another try in finding a replacement for Fraze. I have no problem have the French turn to AI but I noticed some new players posting in the Recruitment Center so perhaps we should ask if they would like to join.

Since you are looking for new players...... Would you also be so kind to find another moderator for this game as well as Team Spirit. I started a one to one league for PTW and that takes a lot of my time. Of course I will stay on until a replacement is found and if you can not find one........... I will remain the moderator for as long as you guys want me to but I would prefer to be replaced.

Thank you, Keygen. Yes, I leave my last resort indeed. It is a bit painful for me but I believe I am able to get over it now .

I started a PTW Internet one to one league. I am to old to start PBEM games. LOL. Mind you this Midway game started december 2000. So it is running for more than 2 years and far from finished. Too long for me.
