I thought they did city management during their turns (:

You can get ride of the Kings Chat by NOT close it. You click on the map window without close Kings Chat. At next moment you want to see if some have said anything you open it with the manu.

I watched star wars on tv yesterday to kill the time during turns. Just put your speakers loud, and there is no problem with a slow 7 player game. It is impossible to stay at the game constantly, you'd become brain dead.

	Unreiable players Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

What is your suggestions about this game.
Do you like the game?
Should we replace the unreiable players with the subs?
Remove the AI civ? Get another player -> You have to ask...as well as I will.
Other suggestions?
I would prefer that each player is responsble for their own civ! And have the responsiblity to post if they can't play.
A player that not can play MUST post in advance about it in the forum otherwise he is considered as unreiable, and
his reputation is damaged. Please post your suggestions..

I liked the game for I did pretty well... I fidn the term 'unreliable player' to be pretty offensive given how I announced this days before and just noone was ther to reply. 'unreliable admin' would be more fitting

If anyone needs a sub for a game I am ready and willing. But I have never played multi player before- I am trying to get into my first game. Hopefully this weekend there will be a game that can tolerate a rookie.

To make it clearer:

1 player Ecthelion did the right thing: Posted in advance, now I hope other will learn to do the same.

2 players don't showed without posting about it (:.
I will not post names of them, I don't like to blame people, I only want the game to work, and it's hard with so many new to MP and that it demands.

Another problem players new to MP not have realized is that their civ always will be screwed in some way during a sub session, so avoid to be away from the game is my tip, and post always if you need to be away in advance please.

Doing the maths it would seem that you include me in the two, which is pretty dumb. I was there on time both weeks, as anyone with icq will confirm. Since the game didn't start before 7.30 for the 2nd week running and didn't look like continuing I decided I could use my limited time more effectively. I don't mean to imply that Winz's organisation has been bad, he has been diligent, but criticising players that are punctual and reliable instead of the players that were late/didn't turn up at all is not judicious.

I thought that the game was going fairly well, but only if you discount the fact that we start 1.5 hours late every session and cant get people to show up on time. And the fact that in the four hours of time we play, maybe 1.5 hours of it is in the actual game, the rest is spent mucking about.

Then there is the confusion over who will be playing in the game and continuous dropping and restarting that interupt the flow and add to my feeling that nobody knows what is supposed to be going on.

And now Ecthelion posts that he has lost his spot, even though he was the only one thoughtful enough to post that he needed a sub for ONLY one session.

I have to wonder if Markus has taken over his civ? That would be very unfair in my opinion. Seems suspicious because Markus tried to get into the game the first session at Attawa's expense, even though Attawa was there on time and Markus posted he wouldnt play. If I am wrong or confused, my appologies. Maybe Winzity could post who is in the game and what civ's they have to clear up any confusion or hurt feelings.

And to finish, I have to stand up for Spike, who had been online and ready to play at least 15 minutes before our scheduled start both times and decided to drop because it seemed hopeless that we could get this group of players to be on time in a reliable manner. We have played for a couple weeks straight and he is always ontime and plays a good game. I say all of this even though he calls me names while beating me sensless in another game...and he takes a long time doing it I swear he didnt promise me a draw in our current game for my support

Lol, we do have a lively banter going, and it has been a very enjoyable couple of weeks. The insults fly both ways though. And as for the taking a long time what Glo quite deliberately fails to mention is that I have many many more units than he, and coordinating attacks against his extremely stubborn defence takes time.

I agree etchy deserves to take over his civ if he wishes next week. I am sure Winz will too.

And.......No draw.

Not a chance, I didn't even really want to sub.

This group takes the meaning slow to a whole new level, you couldn't even drag me in there to take over a civ, let alone sub again.
