You do realize that an active ingredient in Dr. Pepper is Ethylene Glycol, otherwise known as anti freeze?

According to the can in front of me it's polyethylene glycol. I am sure that's much better

Yes, I'm addicted too. For the past 20 years, MUST HAVE MY DR. PEPPER. And for those that claim the Diet tastes the same, YOU"RE WRONG WRONG WRONG.

And if you look on the label, it says natural flavors, (NOT PRUNES)

And Garth, your's must be from a different bottler.

My ingredients listed are
Carbonated Water,
High Frutose corn syrup and/or sugar
Caramel Color,
Phosphoric Acid
Artificial and natural flavors
sodium Benzoate (preservatives)
Caffeine.

Bottled in Northlake, Illinois.

Dr. Pepper is the best soft drink there is! But when I moved from the SouthWest of the U.S. to the NorthEast, no one has it. They keep asking me if I want a Mr. Pibb instead. What, do these guys live in the same neighborhood or something? Did Dr. Pepper do Mr. Pibb's knee-surgery? I wish Dr. Pepper would get Kervorkian on that guy!

Many years ago I used to have a problem when I travelled to the northeast, but now I can find it almost anywhere.

On my honeymoon in the Bahamas (17 years ago) I searched all the stores on the island and finally find one case in the back of a liquor store. All the cans were slightly rusted. But I bought the whole case. Gotta have My DP. My wife thought I was crazy, but we were already married so what the heck could she do.

Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing. After all, Star Trek's Worf thinks prune juice is a warrior's drink.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

"Natural & artificial flavours"? That's pretty vague, like saying "some juices and something like sugar, but not quite"

I thought that Dr. Pepper is cherry flavored drink (Which I'm addicted to too). I haven't tried the diet version, and I'm not going to...

It's a shame it is expensive...

Helicopters. IIRC much more then regular Coke or Pepsi. The markets for it aren't that big here, so selling it is more risky and bringing small quantities here is more expensive per unit = more profit must be gained = higher price.

Ouch, I usually look around and get it on sale for about 4 bucks a case, so it works out to about 17 cents (U.S) per can.

Thats pretty steep. As Rah said, its very cheap if you buy it by the case here, but if you buy a bottle from a street vendor here in NYC you will pay about $1.25.

0.51 euros for 0.33l, what an expensive hell; cans of 0.33l usually are around €0.35 here, but that might be because I got it at WAL-MART, and they're always expensive.

That's right, you guys made me buy a can of Dr Peppers, testing it now. It contains:

Carbonated Water
Sugar
Colour (150d)
Phosphoric Acid ('acidic substance' in German )
Flavourings
Preservative (E211)
Caffeine

Got spare money?

The can was opened with unusual ease. Must be non-Coca Cola. And truly, there's no Coca Cola label on the can.

It has a sweet smell... After being pured into a glass it looks like Coca Cola and doesn't taste too well. It actually has some candy taste to it...

That's right, sweet as hell and thick as well... how can one like that?
