	Tired of ads?

I have access to the news, yes, but not to the links at the top of the page and stuff. I already asked Markos if he could look into adding more links to the directory from various parts of the site (and back).

Note to all: the temp database been deleted, if you hadn't switched to the directory yet, you'll have to now. However, I am keeping the folder structure intact for easier linking: you're automatically forwared. So if you want to send someone to the CtP2 section of the Directory, you can use "http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?&cat=9&t=sub_pages" but you can also use "http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files" if you prefer. To link to the scenarios category, use either "http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?t=sub_pages&cat=32" or "http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files/scenarios/". To link to specific files, you can only use the Directory link: "http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?id=486&t=reviews&cat=32" (and not "http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files/scenarios/WordMap/" or whatever, that won't work).

Uhm, what page? What links?

You mean http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files? That's not hard to remember, is it? If it is, just use http://apolyton.net/dir and click on 'Call to Power 2'.
Various categories are simply subdirs of the aforementioned addres, so Scenarios are at http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files/scenarios, Mods at http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files/mods, Graphics Modifications at http://apolyton.net/~ctp2files/modification/graphics, etc... (Just the names of the categories as they are used in the Directory and old file databases)

Edit: you could add them to the 'notepad' feature in the control panel if you want but in that case there's no real point in using them: you might as well use the actual Directory addresses straight away in that case. The whole point is that it saves you time searching for the right link...

Finally the old database is now in the 'Poly Dir, but you should check all the authors most of them aren't converted correctly. I hope you can fix this Wouter. Otherwise I know now why we gottn't a new patch from Activision, the dir gives us the information that hexagonian created the patch. So I should ask Dave for the source code of the ctp2.exe as he made the patch.

We're still working on the old files, there are a LOT of bugs with them (for one thing, Dave is the author of about 50% of all files in the CtP2 dir ). The same was the case with the Civ2 conversion but we could fix those in private as the dir was invisible - this is not possible with CtP2 as it's already public so please bear with us, and stay away from the old files for a couple of days!
