The fact that it was "near" an airbase means nothing because the explosives weren't on the truck when it was stopped. They may have intended to blow something else up, like a mosque or a synagogue, depending on who they really are.

Wiglaf, while most Israelis seem to be land greedy racial supremacists with the moral compass of a NRA member, I do have to admit that IF this actually is a terrorist attack, the prepertators are most likely Israeli arabs. Not even an Israeli jew would be so bloodthirsty that he'd bomb an installation of the only ally they have...

Besides, Israel only attacks people that can't fight back. Makes murdering civilians so much easier.

You burned the capital of UPPER CANADA, not of Canada.

You know, I like when some Canuck mentions how they burned down our capitol way back when.

It serves as a reminder of how foolish we were for over a century, with only a skeleton army and 'just in time' defense planning.

It should stand as a lesson to Americans everywhere of why we should never shirk our own defense with poor spending again, ever.

I think that the media would be more likely to report them as being Arabs rather than Israeli nationals though. However that may just be due to little info coming the way of the Foxnews folk. I do find it plausible that some very farright Israeli Jews would see the US support for a Palestinian state, negotiating with Arafat, and the Bush Administration's attempt to stop Congressional resolutions supporting Israel's occupation of the West Bank as a sort of stab in the back.
