Apolyton Veterans Party began with the Apolyton Independent Nation. It consisted of folks who believed that the old things which made the webboards great should be included in Apolyton's future.

This websites administration has slowly developed many diverse ways to curb the popularity and strength of the apolyton off-topic, some blatant, some not. This includes the merging of the CTP off topic and the civ 2 off topic (never should've happened), the rise from one moderator to three, the seperation of stories and diplomacy from the off-topic, the perma-banning of stew and yyyhey (although to be fair that wasn't completely under their control) and the most recent and least subtle of the actions, the halting of posts counting towards your total count.

The Apolyton Veterans Party supports a move towards a more liberal and liberetarian off-topic forum policy, a reversing of a trend which has continued for years now.
