Rebuild them. I just can't stand to play Max Payne and see how it shows a place that is supposed to be NY "today" which have the twin towers.
And perhaps that Duke Nukem Forever will be able to reach the shelves after that.

I would rebuild one of the 110-story towers. The other half of the site would be used as a sort of memorial park. There's a message there: We have rebuilt, but we shall also *always* remember those who died. The new tower would be a sign of recovery and moving on, while the park would serve as a testament to the horrible day that Sept. 11, 2001, turned out to be.

But the land's private property, so the owner should do with it whatever he pleases (as long as it complies with zoning ordinances and building codes). It's the American way.

The towers contained ten percent of all the office space in Manhatten. That needs to be replaced. The Port Authority needs the money the rent on the site generated. While I really like the idea that a large memorial should be built, New York needs to replace the Towers as best they can. Still, some sort of memorial should go there.

They really ought to be rebuilt. Let's not forget that they were an important part of NY's economy; it needs the office space and such. By all means build a memorial of some kind to those who died, but rebuild the towers as well (make them bigger, though).
