Yeah. That's the one. For some reason was thinking "The Good Earth cafe" was the name...but I knew that was off.
I used to go there for breakfast. Was part of the yuppie horde* in there back in the mid-90's. My jazz singer gf was a sucker for urban radical chic...
*Technically I wasn't...since I was a poor grad student...but I still looked the yuppie part. Clean cut white guy in polo shirt with Navy haircut...

My mother had lots of cats over the years. Some were Mighty Hunters. Only one ever got a rabbit. Well only one brought one back anyway. They got LOTS of gophers and birds. We lived next to the last large open area in Long Beach, California at the time. I think it was cotton tail the cat got. The jack rabits were kind of large and very fast.
If the cat was nabbing adult rabbits, thats a talented hunter. As General Woundwort said Watership Down "Cats aren't dangerous". Not in general for a full grown rabbit.
