I don't think there is as much difference in the land as some have suggested, not for a 1x deity duel, but IMO your land unquestionably has the edge Markus.

It was no wonders.
If AH had researched properly there is no way in hell i could have attacked him if he had vet pikes in his cities. I would take AH's land over mine any day of the week given the settings we where playing. Not to mention one attack against my core cities and my civ would be finished, i had nowhere else to go. What you also fail to see is i irrigated all my forests and land near my main 5 cities. By the time that was done the game had already been decided.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

No wonders huh? If you started with lots of forest that levels it up, together perhaps tips it in AH's favour. It's pretty tight either way from the screenshot, though there are things we can't see. Your land is certainly playable, and it is probably true your moaning was the embryo of a later excuse should it have been needed.

Except if your opponent lacks the sportsmanship and good manners to accept an early resignation graciously. I mention no names

I'm going to play out all my games with you from now on, win or lose. In fact I would like to continue the game you mention because there is still a lot of life in my civ and you tried to rub my nose in the casualty graph when I conceded that game to you early i.e. as soon as your troops landed, hence the low cas figures on your side.

2 all? Maybe I'll go to 3/1 up

I had to build on hill tops to get them.. Cities don't exactly grow fast.. especially because of the screwed up map size, i had to have a temple and a collosuem just to keep the city from rebelling.
