My reference to the Cypriot entry to the Eurovision Song Contest was not meant to be offensive but rather a method of analogising them with the 80s band 'Bros' and this just seemed a witty way to do it.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, the guys are wearing authentic greek riot police outfits. They requested a special permission from the police to let them wear them.

I haven't found a photo of any greek riot squadsmen yet, but you can compare with those guys here, from Seattle.
