CALL ME
Blondie
Colour me your colour, baby
Colour me your car
Colour me your colour, darling
I know who you are
Come up off your colour chart
I know where you're comin' from
Call me (call me) on the line
Call me, call me any, anytime
Call me (call me) my love
You can call me any day or night
Call me
Cover me with kisses, baby
Cover me with love
Roll me in designer sheets
I'll never get enough
Emotions come, I don't know why
Cover up love's alibi
Call me (call me) on the line
Call me, call me any, anytime
Call me (call me) oh my love
When you're ready we can share the wine
Call me
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo, he speaks the languages of love
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo, amore, chiamami, chiamami
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo, appelle-moi mon cherie, appelle-moi
Anytime, anyplace, anywhere, any way
Anytime, anyplace, anywhere, any day-ay
Call me (call me) my love
Call me, call me any, anytime
Call me (call me) for a ride
Call me, call me for some overtime
Call me (call me) my love
Call me, call me in a sweet design
Call me (call me), call me for your lover's lover's alibi
Call me (call me) on the line
Call me, call me any, anytime
Call me (call me)
Oh, call me, oo-hoo-hah
Call me (call me) my love
Call me, call me any, anytime

This is Not a Lovesong by Matchbox 20
I'm running out of reasons for caring about the other half
I think my half wants a little more pride
I'm running out of reasons for sharing sometimes I can't think of one
I'm running out of faces that I can call familiar
Hey man I'm running out of friends
That I can call at all
How long have I been sleeping, why the hell am I awake
It seems just to stand here is overkill
If I bend any farther, I swear that I'll break
And I think you should let me
It all seems so perfect, yet
Some people, some people get lonely
Some people they just grow older, and scared of a little pain
And we people, we cause a commotion
We didn't mean to be confused, we didn't mean to be alive
And we don't want to be standing here, standing here
How long have we been sleeping, why the hell are we awake
It seems just to stand here is overkill
If I bend any farther, I swear that I'll break
We ask, and we burn what we hear, on the water
And we speak, we burn what we say
But if you hold the rain
It's just a little further
Don’t wanna scare you
Don’t be unhappy
This is not a lovesong
This is not a lovesong

BOTH SIDES NOW
Bows and flows of angel hair and ice cream castles in the air
and feather canyons everywhere, I've looked at cloud that way.
But now they only block the sun, they rain and snow on everyone.
So many things I would have done but clouds got in my way.
I've looked at clouds from both sides now,
from up and down, and still somehow
it's cloud illusions I recall.
I really don't know clouds at all.
Moons and Junes and ferris wheels, the dizzy dancing way you feel
as every fairy tale comes real; I've looked at love that way.
But now it's just another show. You leave 'em laughing when you go
and if you care, don't let them know, don't give yourself away.
I've looked at love from both sides now,
from give and take, and still somehow
it's love's illusions I recall.
I really don't know love at all.
Tears and fears and feeling proud to say "I love you" right out loud,
dreams and schemes and circus crowds, I've looked at life that way.
But now old friends are acting strange, they shake their heads, they say
I've changed.
Something's lost but something's gained in living every day.
I've looked at life from both sides now,
from win and lose, and still somehow
it's life's illusions I recall.
I really don't know life at all.

LUCKY GIRL
I'm a lucky girl
I found my friend
I've been all around the world
Mission Impossible
Chasing the rainbow's end
Wise guys
Shy guys
And sly lover boys
With big bad bedroom eyes ...
I never loved a man I trusted
As far as I could pitch my shoe
'Til I loved you
You're my lucky star
You're my magician
You make the night prowling disappear
Vanished from the star-war-bars
Empty repetition
I get my heart full here
Playboys
Stray boys
And "Say, hey, hey" boys'll treat you like a toy
I never loved a man I trusted
As far as I could pitch my shoe
'Til I loved you
Cheaters
Woman beaters
And Huck Finn shucksters hopping parking meters
I never loved a man
I trusted
As far as I could pitch my shoe
'til I loved you
I'm a lucky girl
I found my friend
I been all around the world
Mission Impossible
Chasing the rainbow's end
Wise guys
Booby-prize guys
And sly lover boys
With big bad bedroom eyes ...
I never loved a man I trusted
As far as I could throw my shoe
'Til I loved you

WOODSTOCK
I came upon a child of God
He was walking along the road
And I asked him, where are you going
And this he told me
I'm going on down to Yasgur's farm
I'm going to join in a rock 'n' roll band
I'm going to camp out on the land
And try and get my soul free
We are stardust
We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
Back to the garden
Then can I walk beside you
I have come here to lose the smog
And I feel to be a cog in something turning
Well maybe it is just the time of year
Or maybe it's the time of man
I don't know who l am
But life is for learning
We are stardust
We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
Back to the garden
By the time we got to Woodstock
We were half a million strong
And everywhere there was song and celebration
And I dreamed I saw the bombers
Riding shotgun in the sky
And they were turning into butterflies
Above our nation
We are stardust
We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
Back to the garden

MY SECRET PLACE
I'm going to take you to
My special place
It's a place that you
Like no one else I know
Might appreciate
I don't go there with anyone--but
You're a special case
For my special place
For my secret place
People talk to tell you something
Or to take up space
Guess I'm only talking
To be talking to
Your pretty face
I don't talk much to anyone--but
You're a special case
For my special place
My secret place
I was born and raised
In New York City
I'm just getting used to Colorado--
Oh street bravado
Carry me
Why did you bring me to
A place so wild and pretty?
Are there pigeons in this park--
Muggers after dark--
In these golden trees--
In the secret place?
I'm going to take you to
My special place
It's a place no amount of hurt and anger
Can deface
I put things back together there
It all falls right in place--
In my special space
My special place
Once I saw a film
In New York City
That was shot in Colorado--
Girl meets desperado
In the trembling mountain trees
Out of all of the girls that you see
In bleachers and cafe windows
Sitting--flirting with someone
Looking to have some fun
Why did you pick me?
For the secret place
------------------------------
I DON'T KNOW WHERE I STAND
Funny day, looking for laughter and finding it there
Sunny day, braiding wild flowers and leaves in my hair
Picked up a pencil and wrote "I love you" in my finest hand
Wanted to send it, but I don't know where I stand
Telephone, even the sound of your voice is still new
All alone in California and talking to you
And feeling too foolish and strange to say the words that I had planned
I guess it's too early, 'cause I don't know where I stand
Crickets call, courting their ladies in star-dappled green
Thickets tall, until the morning comes up like a dream
All muted and misty, so drowsy now I'll take what sleep I can
I know that I miss you, but I don't know where I stand
I know that I miss you, but I don't know where I stand

Back In The USA
Oh well, oh well, I feel so good today,
We touched ground on an international runway
Jet propelled back home, from over the seas to the U. S. A.
New York, Los Angeles, oh, how I yearned for you
Detroit, Chicago, Chattanooga, Baton Rouge
Let alone just to be at my home back in ol' St. Lou.
Did I miss the skyscrapers, did I miss the long freeway?
From the coast of California to the shores of Delaware Bay
You can bet your life I did, till I got back to the U. S. A.
Looking hard for a drive-in, searching for a corner café
Where hamburgers sizzle on an open grill night and day
Yeah, and a juke-box jumping with records like in the U.S.A.
Well, I'm so glad I'm livin' in the U.S.A.
Yes. I'm so glad I'm livin' in the U.S.A.
Anything you want, we got right here in the U.S.A.

DOWNBOUND TRAIN
Chuck Berry
A stranger lying on a bar room floor
had drank so much he could drink no more,
and so he fell asleep with a troubled brain
to dream that he rode on that down bound train.
The engine with blood was sweaty and damp
and brilliantly lit with a brimstone lamp,
and imps for fuel was shoveling bones
while the furnace rang with a thousand groans.
The boiler was filled with lots of beer
the devil himself was the engineer,
the passengers were most a motley crew,
some were foreigners and others he knew.
rich men and lost beggars in rags
handsome young ladies and wicked old hags.
As the train rushed on at a terrible pace
sulphuric fumes scorched their hands and face,
wider and wider the country grew
faster and faster the engine flew,
louder and louder the thunder crashed
brighter and brighter the lighting flashed,
hotter and hotter the air became
til their clothes were burned with each quivering refrain.
Then out of the din there came a yell
ha ha said the devil we’re nearing home,
oh how the passengers shrieked with pain
they go to Satan with this down bound train.
The stranger awoke with an anguished cry
his clothes wet with sweat and his hair standing high,
he fell on his knees on the bar room floor
and prayed a prayer like never before.
And the prayers and vows were not in vain
for he never rode that down bound train.

Skater Boy by Avril Lavigne
He was a boy, she was a girl
Can I make it anymore obvious?
He was a punk, she did ballet
What more can I say?
He wanted her, she'd never tell
secretly she wanted him as well.
But all of her friends stuck up there nose
they had a problem with his baggy clothes.
He was a skater boy, she said see ya later boy
he wasn't good enough for her
She had a pretty face, but her head was up in space
she needed to come back down to earth.
five years from now, she sits at home
feeding the baby
she's all alone
she turns on tv
guess who she sees
skater boy rockin' up MTV.
she calls up her friends, they already know
and they've all got tickets to see his show
she tags along and stands in the crowd
looks up at the man that she turned down.
He was a skater boy,she said see ya later boy
he wasn't good enough for her
now he's a super star
slamin' on his guitar
does your pretty face see what he's worth?
sorry girl but you missed out
well tough luck that boys mine now
we are more than just good friends
this is how the story ends
too bad that you couldn't see
see that man that boy could be
there is more that meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside
He's just a boy, and i'm just a girl
can I make it anymore obvious?
we are in love, haven't you heard
how we rock each others world
I'm with the skater boy, I said see ya later boy
i'll be back stage after the show
i'll be at a studio
singing the song we wrote
about a girl you used to know

Tupac Shakur - Keep Ya Head Up
Some say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice
I say the darker the flesh then the deeper the roots
I give a holler to my sisters on welfare
Tupac cares, and don't nobody else care
And uhh, I know they like to beat ya down a lot
When you come around the block brothas clown a lot
But please don't cry, dry your eyes, never let up
Forgive but don't forget, girl keep your head up
And when he tells you you ain't nuttin don't believe him
And if he can't learn to love you you should leave him
Cause sista you don't need him
And I ain't tryin to gas ya up, I just call em how I see em
You know it makes me unhappy (what's that)
When brothas make babies, and leave a young mother to be a pappy
And since we all came from a woman
Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman
I wonder why we take from our women
Why we rape our women, do we hate our women?
I think it's time to kill for our women
Time to heal our women, be real to our women
And if we don't we'll have a race of babies
That will hate the ladies, that make the babies
And since a man can't make one
He has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one
So will the real men get up
I know you're fed up ladies, but keep your head up
[Chorus]
Keep ya head up, oooo child things are gonna get easier
ooooo child things are gonna get brighter [2x]
[Verse Two:]
Aiyyo, I remember Marvin Gaye, used to sing ta me
He had me feelin like black was tha thing to be
And suddenly tha ghetto didn't seem so tough
And though we had it rough, we always had enough
I huffed and puffed about my curfew and broke the rules
Ran with the local crew, and had a smoke or two
And I realize momma really paid the price
She nearly gave her life, to raise me right
And all I had ta give her was my pipe dream
Of how I'd rock the mic, and make it to tha bright screen
I'm tryin to make a dollar out of fifteen cents
It's hard to be legit and still pay tha rent
And in the end it seems I'm headin for tha pen
I try and find my friends, but they're blowin in the wind
Last night my buddy lost his whole family
It's gonna take the man in me to conquer this insanity
It seems tha rain'll never let up
I try to keep my head up, and still keep from gettin wet up
You know it's funny when it rains it pours
They got money for wars, but can't feed the poor
Say there ain't no hope for the youth and the truth is
it ain't no hope for tha future
And then they wonder why we crazy
I blame my mother, for turning my brother into a crack baby
We ain't meant to survive, cause it's a setup
And even though you're fed up
Huh, ya got to keep your head up
[Chorus]
[Verse Three:]
And uhh
To all the ladies havin babies on they own
I know it's kinda rough and you're feelin all alone
Daddy's long gone and he left you by ya lonesome
Thank the Lord for my kids, even if nobody else want em
Cause I think we can make it, in fact, I'm sure
And if you fall, stand tall and comeback for more
Cause ain't nuttin worse than when your son
wants to kno why his daddy don't love him no mo'
You can't complain you was dealt this
hell of a hand without a man, feelin helpless
Because there's too many things for you to deal with
Dying inside, but outside you're looking fearless
While tears, is rollin down your cheeks
Ya steady hopin things don't all down this week
Cause if it did, you couldn't take it, and don't blame me
I was given this world I didn't make it
And now my son's getten older and older and cold
From havin the world on his shoulders
While the rich kids is drivin Benz
I'm still tryin to hold on to my survivin friends
And it's crazy, it seems it'll never let up, but
please... you got to keep your head up
Keep your head up, America.

America, the Beautiful
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain.
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea.
O beautiful for pilgrim feet,
Whose stern impassion'd stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness.
America! America! God men thine ev'ry flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law.
O beautiful for heroes prov'd
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life.
America! America! May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness,
And ev'ry grain divine.
O Beautiful for patriot dream
that sees beyond the years.
Thine alabaster cities gleam,
Undimmed by human tears.
America! America! God shed his grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood,
From sea to shining sea.

God Bless the U.S.A.
by Lee Greenwood
If tomorrow all the things were gone
I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again
with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars
to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota
to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas
from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston
and New York to L.A.,
There's pride in every American heart
and it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.

MY CITY OF RUINS
Bruce Springsteen
There's a blood red circle
On the cold dark ground
And the rain is falling down
The church door's thrown open
I can hear the organ's song
But the congregation's gone
My city of ruins
My city of ruins
Now the sweet bells of mercy
Drift through the evening trees
Young men on the corner
Like scattered leaves
The boarded up windows
The empty streets
While my brother's down on his knees
My city of ruins
My city of ruins
Come on rise up! Come on rise up!
Come on rise up! Come on rise up!
Come on rise up! Come on rise up!
Come on rise up! Come on rise up!
Now there's tears on the pillow
Darlin' where we slept
And you took my heart when you left
Without your sweet kiss
My soul is lost, my friend
Tell me how do I begin again?
My city's in ruins
My city's in ruins
Now with these hands
With these hands
With these hands
With these hands
I pray Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for the strength, Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for the faith, Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for your love, Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for the strength, Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for your love, Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for the faith, Lord
With these hands
With these hands
I pray for the strength, Lord
Come on, rise up!
Come on, rise up!

LET'S ROLL
Neil Young
I know I said I love you,
I know you know it's true,
I've got to put the phone down,
and do what we got to do.
One's standing in the aisleway,
Two more at the door,
We've got to get inside there,
Before they kill some more.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
No time for indecision,
We've got to make a move,
I hope that were foregiven,
For what we got to
How this all got started,
I'll never understand,
I hope someone can fly this thing,
And get us back to land.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
No one has the answer,
But one thing is true,
You've got to turn on evil,
When it's coming after you,
You've gotta face it down,
And when it tries to hide,
You've gotta go in after it,
And never be denied,
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
Let's roll for freedom,
Let's roll for love,
We're going after Satan,
On the wings of a dove,
Let's roll for justice,
Let's roll for truth,
Let's not let our children,
Grow up fearful in there youth.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.
Time is runnin' out,
Let's roll.

IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL
Horatio G. Spafford
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Refrain
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
Refrain
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
Refrain
For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.
Refrain
But, Lord, ‘tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh trump of the angel! Oh voice of the Lord!
Blessèd hope, blessèd rest of my soul!
Refrain
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
Refrain

HEART OF A CITY
(Janis Ian)
There stood the observation deck
Where none had stood before
We stared down at the smoking ground
And one man took the floor
He said "You know, I'm just five blocks from home"
"I was in it from the start"
"And they might have struck the flesh and bone"
"But they did not strike the heart"
'Cause the heart of a city
Is the soul of a man
And it runs like a river
Through the heart of the land
You can tear down a building
You can tear down a park
You can strike at a symbol
But you can't touch the heart.
There were ashes on the windowsills
And ashes on the leaves
There were ashes on the tongues
Of everybody that still breathed.
And flames so high they blocked the sky
'Til only cinders flew
But the Phoenix rises from the ash
And I'll be rising too
'Cause the heart of a city
Is the soul of a man
And it runs like a river
Through the heart of the land
You can tear down a building
You can tear down a park
You can strike at a symbol
But you can't touch the heart.
I heard the lady's torch
Across the harbor calling me
And a hundred thousand immigrants
Who came here to be free
And I thought about the cowards
Who were claiming victory
Well, if you see them on the street
You can tell them this for me
'Cause the heart of a city
Is the soul of a man
And it runs like a river
Through the heart of the land
You can tear down a building
You can tear down a park
You can strike at a symbol
But you can't touch the heart.
NO SURE WAY
(Loudon Wainwright III_
So I started out on High Street
Had to travel into town.
Like some Orpheus descending
Through a turnstile underground.
From Brooklyn Heights into Manhattan
Which was where I had to be.
Now you have take the 'A' train
There's no more service on the 'C'.
And when you are under water
Sometimes the mind plays tricks
And there beneath the East River
It felt like the River Styx.
The first stop was Broadway-Nassau
A few passengers got in
We all sat, no-one was standing
There somewhere we'd never been,
They say Heaven's high above us
And that Hell is far below.
But inside that subway tunnel
There was no sure way to know.
Chamber Street, a closed ghost station.
Passing through we seemed to glide
Like prisoners inside compartments
On some House of Horrors ride.
The walls were tiled
I hadn't noticed.
It seemed so antiseptic, clean.
But we knew what we were under.
The lights were on
That seemed obscene.
And there I saw the three initials
W, T and then C.
I'd survived, somehow was living
But somewhere I shouldn't be
At the next stop the doors opened
I emerged up above ground
I was in another country.
Elysian fields? No, Chinatown.
They say Heaven's high above us
And that Hell's not far below.
But standing on Canal Street
There was no sure way to know.
Standing on Canal Street
There was no sure way to go.

For Pan, who was called to leave me tonight, a year ago.
I'll love and remember you always, Pan.
Until we meet again.
MY BEST FRIEND
Jefferson Airplane
Ah you're my best friend, and I love you so well
Till the end of time you won't see me
Ah you're my best friend, and I see you, it seems
Now I can see I've fallen into your love stream
I'll follow your dream
Do you know what I mean, yeah
I'll follow you wherever time will take me to
Forever I'll be one with you, one with you, one with you
Ah you're my best friend, am I all that you're seeing
I'll set you free, and then just like me you'll be being
In love with me
Do you know what I mean, yeah
Do you know what I mean,
I'm gonna set you free
You'll be in love with me,
You're my best friend, now
Ah you're my best friend, and I love you so well
Till the end of time you won't see me
Ah you're my best friend, and I see you, it seems
Now I can see I've fallen into your love stream
I'll follow your dream
Do you know what I mean,
Do you know what I mean,
You'll be in love with me,
I'm gonna set you free
Ah, you're my best friend, now
Ah you're my best friend.

For the familes and friends of those who died in the World Trade Centre...
Des'ree - You Gotta Be
Listen as your day unfolds
Challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears
Go ahead release your fears
Stand up and be counted
Don't be ashamed to cry
You gotta be
You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold
You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard
You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm
You gotta stay together
All I know, all I know, love will save the day
Herald what your mother said
Readin' the books your father read
Try to solve the puzzles in your own sweet time
Some may have more cash than you
Others take a different view
My oh my heh, hey
You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold
You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard
You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm
You gotta stay together
All I know, all I know, love will save the day
Don't ask no questions, it goes on without you
Leaving you behind if you can't stand the pace
The world keeps on spinning
You can't stop it, if you try to
This time it's danger staring you in the face
Oh oh oh Remember
Listen as your day unfolds
Challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears
Go ahead release your fears
My oh my heh, hey, hey
You gotta be
You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold
You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard
You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm
You gotta stay together
All I know, all I know, love will save the day
You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold
You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard
You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm
You gotta stay together
All I know, all I know, love will save the day

I'm The Ocean
Neil Young
I'm an accident, I was driving way too fast
Couldn't stop though, so I let the moment last
I'm for rollin', I'm for tossin' in my sleep
It's not guilt though, it's not the company I keep.
People my age, they don't do the things I do
They go somewhere, while I run away with you
I got my friends, and I got my children too
I got her love, she's got my love too.
I can't hear you, but I feel the things you say
I can't see you, but I know what's in my way
Now I'm floatin' 'cause I'm not tied to the ground
Words I've spoken seem to leave a hollow sound.
On the long plain, see the rider in the night
See the chieftain, see the braves in cool moonlight
Who will love them when they take another life
Who will hold them when they tremble from the knife.
Voicemail numbers on an old computer screen
Rows of lovers parked forever in a dream
Screaming sirens echoing across the bay
To the old boats, from the city far away.
Homeless heroes walk the streets of their own town
Rows of zeroes on a field that's turning brown
The play baseball, they play football under lights
They play card games and wew watch them every night.
Need distraction, need romance and candlelight
Need random violence, need Entertainment Tonight
Need the evidence, want the testimony of
Expert witnesses on the brutal crimes of love.
I was too tired to see the news when I got home
Puzzled the curtain, fell into bed alone
Started dreaming, saw the rider once again
In the doorway where she stood and watched for him, watched for him.
I'm not present, I'm the drug that makes you dream
I'm an Aerostar, I'm a Cutlass Supreme
In the wrong lane, trying to turn against the flow
I'm the ocean, I'm the giant undertow
I'm the ocean, I'm the ocean, I'm the giant undertow
I'm the ocean, I'm the giant undertow
I'm the ocean (6x)

Whistle Down The Wind
Performed by Tina Arena - Lyrics by Jim Steinman - Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Whistle down the wind, let your voices carry
Drown out all the rain, light a patch of darkness, treacherous and scary
Howl at the stars, whisper when your sleeping
I'll be there to hold you, I'll be there to stop, the chills and all the weeping
Make it clear and strong, so the whole night long
Every signal that you send, until the very end
I will not abandon, you my precious friend
So try and stem the tide, then you'll raise a banner
Send a flare up in the sky, try to burn a torch, and try to build a bonfire
Every signal that you send, until the very end I'm there
So whistle down the wind, for I have always been right there, oh yeah
Howl at the stars, whisper when your sleeping
I'll be there to hold you, I'll be there to stop, the chills and all the weeping
Make it clear and strong, so the whole night long
Every signal that you send, until the very end
I will not abandon, you my precious friend
Try and stem the tide, then you'll raise a banner
Send a flare up in the sky, try to burn a torch, and try to build a bonfire
Every signal that you send, until the very end I'm there
So whistle down the wind, for I have always been right there

Dirty Deeds Done Dirty Cheap
AC/DC
If you're havin' trouble with your high school head
He's givin' you the blues
You wanna graduate but not in his bed
Here's what you gotta do:
Pick up the phone
I'm always home
Call me any time
Just ring
36-24-36, Oh
I lead a life of crime
Dirty Deeds (DONE DIRT CHEAP)
Dirty Deeds (DONE DIRT CHEAP)
Dirty Deeds (DONE DIRT CHEAP)
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap
You got problems in your life of love
You got a broken heart
He's double dealin' with your best friend
That's when the teardrops start - fella
Pick up the phone
I'm here alone
Or make a social call
Come right in
Forget about him
We'll have ourselves a ball
Dirty Deeds (DONE DIRT CHEAP)
Dirty Deeds (DONE DIRT CHEAP)
Dirty Deeds (DONE DIRT CHEAP)
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap, (Ohhhh)
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap
If you, got a lady and you want her gone
But you ain't got the guts
She keeps naggin' at you night and day
Enough to drive you nuts
Pick up the phone
Leave her alone
It's time you made a stand
For a fee
I'm happy to be
Your back door man, woooo
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap, (Yeah)
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap
Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap
Concrete shoes, cyanide, TN,T Done Dirt Cheap
Neckties, contracts, high voltage (Done Dirt Cheap)
Dirty Deeds
Done Dirt Cheap
Dirty Deeds
Done Dirt Cheap
ARGHHHHHHHH

KENNY CHESNEY
"A Lot Of Things Different"
I'd spend a lot more time in the pouring rain without an umbrella
Covering my head
And I'd stood up to that bully when he pushed and called me names
But I was too afraid
And I'd a gone on and saw Elvis that night he came to town
But mama said I couldn't
And I'd a went skinny dipping with Jenny Carson that time she dared me to
But I didn't
Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different
I wished I'd a spent more time with my dad when he was alive
Now I don't have the chance
I wish I had told my brother how much I loved him before he went off to war
But I just shook his hand
And I wish I had gone to church on Sunday morning when my grandma begged me too
But I was afraid of God
And I wish I would've listened when they said Boy, you're gonna wish you hadn't
But I wouldn't
Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different
People say they wouldn't change a thing, even if they could
Oh but I would
There was this red dress she wanted one time so bad she could taste it
And I should've bought it, but I didn't
She wanted to paint our bedroom yellow and trim it blues and greens
But I wouldn't let her, wouldn't a hurt nuthin
She loved to be held and kissed and touched but I didn't do it
Not nearly enough
And if I'd a known that dance was going to be our last dance
I'd a asked that band to play on and on on and on
Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different
People say they wouldn't change a thing, even if they could
Oh but I would
Oh whoa Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different
Oh I, I'd done a lot of things
I think we've all do a lot of things different

Valentine
If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you
And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine
All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And showed me how to love unselfishly
I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time...
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine
And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
'Cause all I need is you, my Valentine
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

Running Away by HOobastank
I don't want you to give it all up
And leave your own life collecting dust
And I don't want you to feel sorry for me
You never gave us a chance to be
And I don't need you to be by my side
To tell me that everything's alright
I just wanted you to tell me the truth
You know I'd do that for you
Why are you running away?
Why are you running away?
Cause I did enough to show you that I
Was willing to give and sacrifice
And I was the one who was lifting you up
When you thought your life had had enough
And when I get close, you turn away
There's nothing that I can do or say
So now I need you to tell me the truth
You know I'd do that for you
So why are you running away?
Why are you running away?
Is it me, is it you
Nothing that I can do
To make you change your mind
Is it me, is it you
Nothing that I can do
Is it a waste of time?
Is it me, is it you
Nothing that I can do
To make you change your mind
So why are you running away?
Why are you running away?
...What is it I've got to say...
So why are you running away?
...To make you admit you're afraid...
Why are you running away?
STarry Eyed Surprise by Paul Oakenfold
Oooh La La
I see stars
I’m seeing stars x6
Once again, I find myself with my friends, dancing the night away,
Its like the party never ends.
Then again we don’t want it to stop, 'cause tonight’s the night it goes sweatbox, laser beams, flashing lights, wild cards,
Men from Mars, dressed in Stars and stripes,
Eclectic electric
Ladies of the evening
drinking booze and mingling …..
Mashing to the music, I can do anything
Freaky dicky star speckles and pink butterflies
and life is nice, so nice.
I walk into a club and I’ve found paradise,
I’m seeing stars, I can’t believe my eyes.
Oh my starry eyed surprise, sundown to sunrise,
I dance all night, we’re gonna dance all night, dance all night to this DJ.
Ah Sugar, dance all night to this DJ.
Oh my starry eyed surprise, sundown to sunrise,
Dance all night, we’re gonna dance all night, dance all night to this DJ,
Ah Sugar, dance all night to this DJ, dance all night to this DJ, lover dance all night to this DJ.
Like the record spins on the trails we blaze
The walls are closing in but that’s ok because I’ve been waiting all week to feel this way and it feels so good, so good.
I’m on top of the world the coolest kid in the neighbourhood
So let me be your star for one night that’s right.
Sweatbox, laser beams, flashing lights, you’ve got to feel the rush, feel the spice of life.
Love-life, Shifty rolls the dice snake eyes surprise.
Iceing..Mesmorizing. the minds are sick ones 'cause what we are, is victims of fun.
Come on, come on, the fun is just begun; come on the fun is just begun. Ha Ha!!
Oh my starry eyed surprise, sundown to sunrise,
dance all night, we’re gonna dance all night, dance all night to this DJ.
It goes
Oooh la la
I see stars
I’m seeing stars x2
Oh my starry eyed surprise, sundown to sunrise,
I dance all night, we’re gonna dance all night, dance all night to this DJ.
Ah Sugar, dance all night to this DJ.
Oh my starry eyed surprise, sundown to sunrise,
Dance all night, we’re gonna dance all night, dance all night to this DJ,
Ah Sugar, dance all night to this DJ, dance all night to this DJ, sugar dance all night to this DJ, dance all night to this DJ.

FAMILY TRADITION
Hank Williams Jr.
Country music singers have always been a real close family
But lately some of my kinfolk have disowned a few others and me
I guess it's because I went and changed my position
Lord, I guess I went and broke their family tradition
Chorus
They yell, they wanna know: "Hank.."
Why do you drink? Why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out the songs that you wrote?
Stop and think it over - try to put yourself in this position
When I get stoned, I'm just carryin' on an old family tradition.
Now I am very proud of my daddy's name
Although his kind of music and mine ain't exactly the same
Stop and think it over - try to put yourself in my position
When I get stoned and sing all night long it's just a family tradition
Chorus 2
Don't ask me: "Hank..."
Why do you drink? Why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out them songs that you wrote?
If I'm down in a honky tonk,
and some ole slick's tryin' to gimme some friction
I says "Leave me alone,
I'm stayin' all night long 'cause it's a family tradition"
Lordy, I have loved some ladies, and I still love Jim Beam
They both tried to kill me in nineteen seventy-three
When that doctor asks me "Son, how'dja get in this condition?"
I says "Hey Sawbones, I'm just a-carryin' on the old family tradition."
Chorus 3
So don't ask me: "Hank..."
Why do you drink? Why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out them songs that you wrote?
Stop and think it over - try to put yourself in my unique position
When I get stoned and sing all night long, it's just a family tradition.
