Mark, I guess you mean that it was a slowdown cause when the stats were displayed but not anymore. Makes sense, I guess.

FYI: a couple more things I noticed.

1. Seems like my initial connect to poly is quite slow. (other sites are fine.) wonder if there was something you were doing that made that happen. But this just got better so maybe you fixed it...

2. Seems like incidence of lsoing posts has gone up. (When you type a post and send it and lose it cause the server doesn't accept it.)

It would be cool if we used the civII engine and made a game out of this. We could do things like Europeans vs. Americans. But otherwise it is stupid. Very stupid.

hey

we could even change them back to the rpg stats and make a game out of them

people could challenge eachother to duels and whoever lost would be 'banned' for a day

this would allow people to get out some of their frustrations

otherwise maybe we could make a series of special civ3 units (all in a mod of course and when the editor allows this of course) which has all of apolyton on them with the apolyton stats

imagine defending your cities with mingers or attacking with your jaguar warrior unit

I was reading page 6 of the thread when I made that post, and the server died before I got to page 7. Obviously I was talking about the RPG-style stats, and not the ADM style.
