Hi Kralj! Great to see that the Natives are still doing well. I think that much credit needs to be given to the current N/A ruler to remain on top of the PG. I won't ever forget this game... It was the first one I ever played multiplayer.

Oh Quinns, I was also there, and this was my:

1) Worst ever reliability period, when I was nexted every other time, and so... very shameful stuff back then

2) Worst ever CtP playing period... now I can beat Deity like nothing, back then, I sucked. Didn't know CtP isn't Civ 2.

Yeah . I still feel very crappy when I remember the days, I just spoilt so many games with my presence . Then I left PBEM, and only recently started playing again - and now I do it OK, in a reliable fashion, everything you wish.

Yeah, I created the map, started the game, played as Spain, and, being last civ on powergraph, was happily attacking the first one all the time with Legions.

How is my Spain doing now? I guess very bad... such a start that I was giving, you know, 5 cities and 3 units when everyone has like 10 cities in 15 units . Those days I sucked completely, but now I no longer do - ever since March when I learned to play CtP.

Oh, and nonetheless, I really might be the only creator dumped of the game, lol. I remember, those days, not only there were some IRL conditions, but I also entered the period of hating my ISP and mailserver. Sometimes the connection to Net was absent for several hours, but, worst of all, the former Apolyton mail server worked so bad, that often mails got lost and delivered with a WHOPPING TWO WEEK delay, and us, of course, not knowing. Damn all with @apolyton.net mail were mad...

This game was into a period, around turns 60-70, I think, when it was very fast. Several times I even played two turns a day!

I finished 3 PBEM games in about 4 months. One won, lost one, and came in second in one. Most turns took one turn per day. If you stay on that track, you will finish relatively quickly. The smaller the group, the faster.
