Because the Palestinian officials have proven themselves to be liars.

But the truth is that the picture is real:

The picture went around the world and became a symbol of despair for all those who want peace in the Middle East. |

If you think about it the people who should be upset by the picture should be the Palestinians. It rather mocks the seriousness of the bomber's sacrifice by infantilizing it, equating it with child's play. If I were Hamas I would pay that kid's parents a visit.

Depends on whos point of view your looking at. I mean from the Palestine point of view, they're not terrorists. They're liberators, trying to free palestine from the Israeli invaders.
From an Isreali (read, western) point of view, they are terrorists trying to kill innocent people at street corners.
But, to me this picture is sick, but ultimately unimportant. It's not going to kill anyone, it's not going to cause a major shift in Isreali policy, it isn't going to cause anything terrible to happen because frankly, it's not that important.

This isn't quite as black and white as you think it is.
I mean, look at it from their point of view. Israel comes into their cities and destroys them, leaving death and destruction everywhere.....And the US bairly even acknowledges its happening. The only weapno they think they have are suicide bombs.
Admitantly yes, there are some who just want to eliminate Israel, but....You do have to see it from their point of view. There is more to it than us being the good guys and them being the bad guys.
However yes, this is sickening but as I stated before, this picture is (or should be) of very little concern, as it will not affect much.

So what if its real? It clearly isn't meant to be serious. It is just a sick joke - not something to condemn an entire people about.
I imagine you would have a pretty warped sense of humour too if foreign soldiers were buldozing your houses and killing your children.

To me, raising suspicions about the picture being real, is like saying "the picture is fake" without spelling it out.

if this picture helps the world understand the drama that israelis are going through qwith suicide bombings then i say it is a good thing.
it is freakish but if it serves a purpose.
