Today Chairman Cho-Min died in his sleep at the age of 73. Known mostly for his heavy-handed judgement and strict control over the Chinese population, Cho-Min was a dictator more along the line of those before the third world war. His son, Ken Cho-Min widely respected by current members of the Communist party has been selected to take up rule. We take you now live to Beijing, where he is adressing the Chinese people.
-screen shows a middle-aged but handsome Chinese man wearing a suit stepping up a podium, he coughs once then begins his speech-
"As most of you know today my father died, no, a part of China died. For centuries now China has been under the rule of men like my father, though they mean the best for our great country, they ultimately end up doing the worst."
-Pausing, he glances around the press room, which has fallen silent before going on-
"They have while hurting the people kept our country alive, through the greatest war mankind has ever known, and for this I thank them. But now it is time to change, to lay down the sword and take up the plow, so to speak. Once China was ruled by Dynastys, together we stood, for the people and for the country."
-Ignoring looks from aides and advisors, as well as few whispered demands for questions, he continues-
"So now it is time to put right these things, and bring a golden age back to our great Empire. I am proposing a new Dynasty, not one of a ruling family, not one of the military, but one of the people. No longer should you fear the hand of Beijing*, but you will welcome it, for the people will finally be given what they have lacked all these years, a choice. We will throw aside the bonds of power or mindless politics, we will be as one, united."
-The buzz around the press room grew louder, as well as the demands from advisors, but he continued, a small smile on his face-
"And thus, the Peoples Republic of China is no more, the communist party is no more, rulers like my father, though well-meaning he might have been are no more. What rises from this is what should have been all along, and what is here to stay. The Chinese Dynasty, not Change, tse-Tung, nor communist, but Chinese. For the people."
-Now the advisors and others in the room could barely restrain themselves, but he went on as if they wern't even there-
"In these months ahead there will be some bloodshed i'm afraid, but you cannot build a house with cracked bricks, for those cracked ones will bring the others down as well. I give pardon to those who served the former goverment in the past, but I will not allow what was done to continue. Submit yourself before the Dynasty and be spared, but contine with the subjucation of the people and face the first true justice we have had in years."
-Ending that last statement looking almost angry he seemed to calm himself then continued-
"You will learn more about the changes as they happen. I hope it will be swift, but such a great change as i'm proposing may not be. But I go through with this knowing I serve my people and my country, not just my country. Thank you, that is all."
-He then calmly walks away from the podium, leaving the press room and a dumbfound Chinese press corp-

As he walked out of the room Ken chuckled to himself lightly, ignoring the repeated questions of his advisors and others until one aide asked what he would be called. Pausing a moment he thought to himself then said to the aide- "The people will have a Dynasty, I will be their Emperor." The aide after blinking once hurriedly nodded then nearly ran back to the press room, adressing those assembled there.
Walking towards the other end of the palace he entered a meeting room, the various leaders of Chinas govermental powers having assembled. Angrily one aged Chinese man stood up saying "Ken, I don't know what game you're playing here but if you think we'll go along with this you're madder then-" stopping as Ken raised his hand and spoke. "General, calm down and sit a moment, I will explain." Still looking angry but soothed for the moment, he sat.
Ken then motioned for the aides and various advisors to be escorted out, then had the guards sweep the room for listeners and listening devices, that all done he sat at the head of a long table at looked out among the prominent people of China as he spoke. "Gentlemen, some of what I said in that room today was correct, China has been but surviving, not prospering, and do you know why?" He looked among them, seemingly awaiting a reply.
After a moment he continued "It is because of Communism, it gave us the power we needed, certainly, but none of the support. Is it because of what we did? Partly, though other countrys can do nearly as much as we do, but get away with it. Communism is seen as abuse of the people for the goverment, because of what happened in Russia and other communist nations." Stopping only to take a drink from a glass of water, he went on.
"The other nations besides for our allies view us as backwards and corrupt, despite our industrial and military might we have never been able to change that opinion. Because of that, communism had to fall. Now under the guise of a Constitutional-Monarchy we shall make China prosper and return to the glory we once held."
Ignoring once more rising protests from the representitives of the communist party seated at the table he continued "Now the other nations will be suspicious at first, claiming that we are indeed still communists or just another dictatorship, but I believe they will come around. This does indeed mean releasing some power you hold gentlemen, but in the end this is best for China. I will be an Emperor, and you all will serve China an I loyally, as you served my father."
Unable to take it any longer, the vice-chairman of the Communist party stood up shouting "You won't get away with this Ken, the Communist party has stood for yea-" A shot rang out, ending abruptly the vice-chairmans sentence and life. Ken lowered his pistol, returning it to an un-seen holster inside his jacket. "You will either serve China in the way I have said or you will not. The choice is yours gentlemen." After a bit of arguing amongst themselves the General stood up, speaking to Ken.
"I remember when you were but a boy, Ken. I also remember thinking you would turn out just like your father, honorable and hard but still as blind as the others. You have proved me wrong, I, we are proud to serve an Emperor once more." Ken smiled and said "Very good, let us begin then."

Ken Cho-Min proclaimed Emperor of said Dynasty. Communist rule has ended, a prototype Constitutional-Monarchy being put in place.

Ken Cho-Min Profile: 38 year old Chinese citizen, son of former Chairman Cho-Min. Former Chinese military, retired with honors 4 years ago to persue political career. Studied in various foriegn universitys, said to be a charismatic man and great speaker.
OOC: Ok, I know this isn't too realistic as far as things go, but I wanted to change a few things around with China. And besides, I need it for stuff later. I've also always liked Chinese things more along this then modern China. Anyway, if its too much reality police speak up.

Well yes, it is something it wouldn't happen in real life, but this is a story/game, and it must be first fun, than real. So I think the reality police should let you go away with it
Just remember to brake every Alliance with Russia and Cuba, and to have a few Communist Rebels and sobatoging sometimes during your story .

After one months of temporary government held by former rebel Paulo Gonzalez.
The first election was about to happen in Mexico.
The Mexican Constitution was reinstaured, but a few things were added, such as the complete banning of Fascist in any of his forms!
Only 3 parties started out.
DL - Democratic League, lead by former rebel Paulo Gonzalez
CPM - Communist Party of Mexico, lead by former rebel Gustavo Ramirez
DFF - Democracy For Freedom, lead by mister Raul Mana (OOC: DFF is truly a cover name for the Fascist Party)
Next months the results of the election will be pubblic, it was registered an affluence top voting of over 90%, as great enthusiasm is in the people for this "new" right.

To Peruvain Government: The cloaking device is very useful. However in if used in a ship attempting light-speed it will overload and cause massive destruction. That is why it is best used in small fighters. My scientists arer working on a cloaking device far larger ships that can still be used in light-speed.

- Rebuilding of the core industrial system that got destruct after the war
- Setting the military to a 90% defensive status, as to better protect the country from Fascist or communist rebel factions, and also to allow the EPA soldiers to go home.

Due to the rise in the technological bar the EPA is researching the following:
A cloaking device that can be used on large space ships and space ships attempting light-speed.
Time=5 months / 5 days
A scanner to detect any and all cloaked space ships
Time= 6 months/ 6 days
Reactive Space armor that absorbs the destruction of the new powerful weapons in the present
Time= 7 months / 7 days
Several new types of space ships such as:
A new pocket stardestroyer which can out run capital ships and can out gun cruisers.
Time= 4 months / 4 days
A missle boat which carries a varity of missles [DUH!] whcih can decimate any capital ship.
Time= 3months/3days
An Interdictor which can track and out run any ship even in lightspeed.
Time = 5months/ 5days
An EMP cannon that only shuts down weapon systems.

((OOC: My original fleet looks like the Imperials from Star Wars. All ships as or larger than a cruiser can carry smaller ships like fighters and bombers.))

To the NAF and Peruvain Governments: WARNING!! The claoking device can not support the cloaking of a large space ship or a ship sttempting light-speed. That is why it is best used on small fighters and bombers. I am currently making a cloaking device that can withstand the mentioned situations.
To NAF: We will engage destroying the Cuban space fleet and will send the ISF star destoyers Vengence, Red Wolf, and Apocalypse to assist you.

To Mexico: The EPA is going to add some ponts to the treaty.
1. Mexico may not upgrade its forces in any way without express written consent from Baron Harkonnen.
2. An open door policy to foreign trade.
3. A space program can only be engaged if the full intent of the program is made public and the EPA agrees with it.
As such the communist party is in violation of section 3. And the Democracy for Freedom party is in violation of sections 1 and 2. They must ratify these or face dismantle.

In this new age of exploration and peace we propose trade treatys and non-agression pacts with all freedom-loving nations. Our offer is closed to any communist or facist nations, however. The Chinese Dynasty can't right all the wrongs done by our great country in the past, but we can begin to move in the right direction, hopefully with support of the rest of the civilized world.

We feel the need to help bring an end in other countries what strangled our own so badly, so to this end we are offering some information that could be helpful. Though we can't make this public knowledge, we hope you will take this into account when dealing with us at later times.

General News/Changes/Announcements
Quelling of communist rebels and securing of all Chinese provinces continue. Small coronation ceremony held in Beijin for Emeperor Cho-Min. First elections held for Chinese parliment, all openly and even a few former communist candidates losing in landslide elections. First order of buisness is reforming the laws made by communist goverment, and better representing the people. The Chinese Dynasty however, unlike many other Constitutional Monarchys sets the Emperor as the ultimate power, with the parliment right below him.
Military rules and restrictions enforced, many desertions from hard-line communists and those who didn't meet the requirements. Somewhat newer equipment and training begun on soldiers left. Navy and Air Force also under review for new rules and restrictions, not expected to be as bad as the Army though.
Emeperor Cho-Min announced plans for space colonization, citing nobel prize wining Chinese scientist theory on how the asteroid built could be mined and lived in by almost a limitless number of Chinese citizens. Work begins on retrofitting and bringing up to date the tiny Chinese space fleet. Consisting mostly of exploration and scientific vessels, China has had no actual colonization or military space vessels. Construction has now begun on these vessels, to protect Chinese interests and to reach the goal of colonizing the asteroid belt.
Many Chinese scientists trained around the world after having left China for various reasons(most of them due to communist aggression) are returning, helping to spur research and improve Chinas technology slightly(still behind that of other nations, though).
Another cultural revolution, this time by the people and not by those wanting power has begun. Many Chinese citizens having known nothing but war are eager to learn of the past and their glorious Empire that has spanned throughout many years. Also new relegious freedom, temples and even churches are being revived all around China.

This document, released to the pubblic from the DFF, is signed by Baron Harkonnen himself, and goes against any principle of Democracy, and nation's self-determination.
The EPA not only imposed an extremely harsh treaty to Mexico (after they waged war to us, claiming they were helping us), but they are directly interfereing with Mexico's internal policies, and Mexico's DEMOCRACY, that they declared themselves the protectors and paladines.
-"We went from a dictatorship, to another, but foreign tiranny"- shouted Raul Mana, secretary of the DFF.
-"This is an injustice, and goes against the concept of Democracy itself"- Declared Guastvo Ramirez, leader of the CPM.
How not to agree with them.
Th only party that about the issue said simply "No Comment" was the Democratic League, the only party that benefited from this treaty changing.
Luckily enough, the DL couldn't manage to have a full majority in the parlament, so that a little bit of Democracy will still be in this re-born subjugated nation.

As Paulo Gonzalez, secretary of the DL, and elected president, read his newspaper, he want on anger.
How could they say that, he thoght, a true leader is one that do the best for his people, and angering the EPa would mean just another war.
He knows that now his country has not a full-support of him, he knows that. He knows how the Communists are truly the most supported, but he also knows how to make them change opinion!
