The reason Kassiopeia and myself raised this issue is that we felt the situation of a few months ago was not conducive either to story-writing or to mental health, both ours and I'm sure yours as well, Mellian. Though I understand what you're saying, I think perhaps the time has come for a parting of the ways.

Golly. Thanks, Mellian. That's quite an assurance. If Mr. President, Kassiopeia, and I leave, then BAC will be simply, if not dead, half-dead.

As for your age, Mellian, I can assure you that you are most certainly not the youngest here, you are indeed one of the oldest, and yet, the lot of us, the younger ones included, seem to have a far better grip on our behavior than yourself.

should meet me in person to prove that assumption, which is base on what i wrote in the past, and then assumed what mood i was in. impressions i give in my writing doesn't always reflect what i feel in reality, or the impressions you would get by simply looking at me.

now, should you people not decide NOW wether you people would allow me back with any compromises or simply ban me from BAC? i don't care and won't bother me if you people ban me. the only ones threatening the continuation of BAC you people, not me. I simply said hello and you people freaked out on me. surprised? yes bothered? no.

now, can we be mature and make a decision/vote? sure i may deserve some of the insults i being getting, but does become a bit silly if you continue doing that without giving a straight answer. bit interesting that we reversed positions on this matter

not really, you people still haven't answered to my compromise option, which as room for even more compromises...and willing to make a deal with MarkG to ban me from Apolyton if I break any...if he is willing.

Aside from the tense OOC moments, I have to decloak and fire a question at the general approval of the BAC writers

I plan to drop a large rock out of FTL at high speeds at the the HOG planet. I would just like to point this out that I am not going to that to any PC controled player that I be fighting against.

But if you people think that doing such a thing would open a pandora's box of some type, I won't. However I felt compelled to ask instead of doing something like that uniltararely (sp).

Mellian, to be frank, I'm not buying that you could do a compromise. Why not write your own story if you can be satisfied with a small part in BAC?

And I'd like to hear Sprayber's input on this as well.

The Conclave, the Believers, right? IIRC the Morganites hired them to attack the Coalition, at the Battle of Callisto many many pages ago the Conclave helped in clearing the blockade and helped out the Morganites to escape.

Here's the rub. Generally compromises are good. But myself and Kassiopeia feel that there have been a large number of bad experiences relating to our relationship with you in the past, and we fear them being repeated or added to in the future.

It's a difficult situation, no doubt. If Mellian walks back in, myself, Kassiopeia, and probably History Guy will leave in protest - halving the number of writers and possibly crippling the story just by literary volume. If the debate continues until Mellian leaves, Beyond Alpha Centauri may be so poisoned that it will not be worth continuing.

So I am going to blow the emergency hatch, show myself a red card, and planeswalk away from this thread. If I have championed a false cause over the last two days, then I am truly sorry.

For several months I've myself had thoughts of leaving BAC. These had little to do with the situation with Mellian, however, but more personal reasons. Her reappearance was the drop that caused the flood, though...

I've started in a new school now, and here it's an entirely different ballgame - I'll have to actually work to get any good grades. Also, in terms of literary ambitions, I've decided to focus more on writing in Finnish as I feel I'm more apt there, and I've got many issues I feel a need to deal with, but are not BAC related or wouldn't fit the general tone and plot of the story.

I don't really know what this message is. Probably a good bye, I'm afraid. I don't think there's anything left for me to contribute to this story, and if I stayed I'd be just ballast. I haven't even had the time to read the recent additions there, and my general idea of what is actually happening outside Earth is getting fuzzy.

But... it's a great story. I hope you can continue it even without me.

I more interested in BAC because i helped create her. else, no point starting a story in AC Fiction, as like you people say, my track record is not really good.

I CAN do compromise, i have done it before with you people. so don't say i cannot. i had to compromise in the last 8 months, i still do and i am doing heck of a lot better now then before.

your the ones poisoning BAC at the moment, not me. so people better not give the credit for ruining back without a real vote wether i should stay or not. yet, you people are not making the decision for my fate here. why? maybe because you already plan to ditch BAC anyway? Have I caused any problems since i came back? No. you people are, being so close minded and not letting the past go or even willing to compromise. You three are acting quite similarly as i did before. so if anyone is going to ruin BAC, it is not me...and i am not officially back either as i waiting for a Collective decision by the writers, which i am not seeing much of.

The 3 groups that I have are

The Conclave: Government of the moderate belivers

The Hammer of God: the robed nutters, (think word of blake if you are into battletech)

The Soliders of God: The Conclave miltary forces that are currently serving with Morgan in return for some energy credits.

But since nobody seems to care that I am going to to a very nasty thing to them, I guess when I get a chance I will write up a post this week.
