The most I've had in a day is approaching 20 pints-worth (I say "worth" as I was drinking all sorts). Never again!

Now, around 8 doubles can see me having a great night, 10 will see me going to bed a little earlier than I hoped, and 12 will have me chundering.

When I was young gun I always took a slab of beer and a bottle of Bundy to parties but Now I am older and wiser I take a dozen beers and a dozen cans of bundy and coke.

I used to be able (5 years ago) to drink quite a lot without severe changes in my condition (about 10 pints of beer was a piece of cake). I had the necessary experience.

But since I've decreaced my drinking, and nowadays I feel very drunk after some 5 pints.

My best cure for hangover is: drink water as much as you can before going to bed. Hangover is caused by dehydration (alcohol binds free water in your body).

i cant get drunk on vodka but noone believes me. but it's true.

i can get drunk easily with beer (which I dont like) and with anything else.

Ok, it's not that I will not get drunk at ALL, but I can drink like half a bottle of vodka and I will be ok, just a tiny bit dizzy.

I think this qualifies as "not drunk".

If I drink 4 glasses of scotch or ouzo I'll be drunk.

well we mix all sorts of drinks with Vodka. Some of them are not alcoholic.

But as far as I know there is not drinking of beer and vodka together.

BTW anybody knows Archer's? a thick drink with the sent of peach? It's great when mixed with the correct amount of coke (as in coca cola) and ice.

I don't want to brag, but I have impressed people with this coctail of mine

Honestly Paiktis, yiou're talking bollocks when you say you can drink as much vodka as you like. The only thing that would give you this idea is if Greek vodka is watered down.

1ml of alcohol is 1ml of alcohol, regardless of what he delivery method is (ie spirits, wine, or beer).

A friend of mine's sister said that alcohol got stronger if you drank it through a straw.
