That's the most sober I've ever been at a 'Poly meet. I think I fulfilled my appetite for anything after that Surf 'n' Turf... apart from a sandwich on the train back I didn't eat anything else until about 11 at night... and I ate the steak and scampi before 2...

Nah. To have made it to Aber, I would have had to spend Saturday night there, and then wake up and leave around 10am, to have any hope of making it home in time for dinner (Lousy train schedules).

It wasn't a moan, I questioned it because I found it odd and fairly amusing.
