I usually do the same to the AI when I play. Cut them off before they can do it to me.

Yeah, I'm having a pretty good game now as Rome. Russia was immediately kicked off of my6 land and respawned on some crappy coast. France is stuck with two tiny, worthless cities. Persia from all iron on a little worthless striip of land. Once I finish of Egypt my big subcontinent will pretty much be mine.

I guess I had a near perfect start, unlike our little demo game.

Increase the size of your Attachments

In the long term, I think we should control the entire jungle. Considering its size, it's likely that a big part of the rubber will be there, controlling it would give us the opportunity to decide who can build infantry et al.
