Last night was horrible. It took me 10 seconds to bribe a unit, i couldn't see any other civ moving. And when barbs attacked it i couldn't see them and it wouldn't show i lost units, they'd just be gone. The only time it went normal speed was a few turns before DD took over. but then it booted me..

Yes, your lag must have been horrible. I've never seen you so bad before in terms of lag.
Congrats, Good timing on taking that city, a few turns later and vet pikeman would have made the difference. (but you knew that )

lol i can't believe you took that city back.. SF was toast to, on the turn i got kicked i had 5 crusaders bearing down on his capitol from the ocean. (he only had warrors to defend with and i was 3 squares away with my cities.) But moving against you would have been pretty hopeless that game until cannons, just to many of your core cities built on hill tops.

After i droped i downloaded some movies at 200kb/sec So i know it was just the connection between us.
