Our turnchat on Friday, July 26, proved to be riddled with problems and setbacks. For one, I had an old friend that I have not seen in years give me a call on the phone, and I talked with him for quite some time. Shortly after finishing our 3rd turn, many in the IRC were dropped, and a powerful thunderstorm near my house knocked out the power. Indeed, even as I write this report my power has failed again, and I apologize for the delay in this update’s arrival.
Later, we met back up and played the rest of turn 1050, and played into 1025, long enough to capture Washington D.C. in the name of Apolytonia. Making four turns played total.

Third Archer attacks and KILLS the other Spearman, and takes the city!!!!
Washington is captured
