Thank you, jdjdjd. The only reason I am making this deal is that only the Government has the resources to build this. Of course, if you ever need finances for any of your journeys, I would be happy to provide you with them. I am unsure about one thing, though. Are you planning on captaining the vessel?

I do not know what we find, but I will send the birds back to you with updates of our travels. Should Apolytonia expand to any far off land, then I am sure your paper can set up a post at that time.

I will, with the help of Skywalker and the rest of the crew. we will defend ourselves as best we can, but we are not on a military mission.

I have been able to obtain the writing instruments and the supplies you have requested. Why you would want so many glass beads in beyond my understanding, but you message stated something about using them as "wam-pum".

The 5000 bottles of wine have been delivered to the shipyards, per request, although I had to request several guardsmen of Ubers to protect them from roudy shipbuilders.

I have commissioned several of our metal smiths to begin construction of longer versions of the iron knife I had forwarded to you (which we are calling a sword), however, as I understand it we will need to find a real source of iron before we will have enough to do more than assist our small scouting parties. If you encounter some of this mirical substance, please send one of those "Chickens" or whatever bird it was back with word. If you need anything else, please write. I am glad to hear that Dog is doing better.

I am confident that we, the crew, will return from Uber Isle with many new and exotic resources. Or, at the very least, several items that are scarce in jungle terrain.

I've made engineering schematics for catapults and other siege engines (being a military engineer i was), so if need be, I can improvise as a cartographer. All i need is a pencil, paper... err ... papyrus scrolls, and a compass... uh.... crap, we dont have those. I gues I can use the stars for reference.

in the supplies I packed you should find a crude instrument called a sextant. This is a demonstration model, so please be careful. Until we can chart the stars, and come up with a form of NAVIGATION, I am afraid you will mostly have to rely on luck.

WOW! WE HAVE SEXTANTS??!! I didnt think we would have those until our wise men had discovered astronomy or something. Thanks GodKing! I shouldn't need much more than that! Being able to find our ship's relative latitude would be most helpful in mapping and exploring our world. I can't believe I'll get to hold such an advanced piece of technology.... its.... almost .... alien.... and its definately an honor.

WOW! You have an evil tower? I used to have a shack in the ghetto, but after UberKruX destroyed the ghetto, I joined the army. Now that I've left the army, I have nothing. Do you think someday I could obtain a tower like you? I've always wanted one of those dark twisted towers that rise from a rock out-cropping, and lie in perpetual darkness, thunder, and lightning, like in the ... uh .... stories I here.

I don't want to rain on this wonderful and glorious undertaking but I have a question. In my games when I try to move a galley onto squares other than coast it simply will not allow me to. Is this just me or did I accidentally put a setting wrong somewhere. I am sure it is a setting or something since apparently everybody else can do it.
