My desktop holds the same virtues as my location field - simple and tidy.

No need to clutter things up. Or maybe I'm just plain old

Notice how everything is organized into folders on the desktop. Those folders (multimedia, games, development) contain shortcuts which are then made into quicklaunch areas at the bottom.

How does one go about 'skinning' windows ME?

(I can do all this with linux or unix but windows is another matter....)
