Ok Geoff bowed out of this game, we will need a new player. Conduit I realize you have connection problems sometimes so I will extend nexting until this evening.

If that is ok with the rest of the players? Generally I leave it alone unless you players get ansie. So if you think it is taking too long just email me.

dancemasseuse I agree, the 24 hour rule is a good guideline, then reality takes over.

I have no problem playing another players turn and play it to the best of my ability. I don't go for repeated chasing of a player when no reason is given. I think replacing is in order then. Most do. I do not go for nexting other players by players, that can be looked at as cheating. Just email me if anyone wants to speed things up ok? Posting here my not get my attention immediately as I too have a life. go figure

Like in this case though I leave it to the players to email me if they would like to speed it up abit.

Some call that lax in my moderating, I like to think of it as being a realist.

I have emailed him again so he has had two shots at it, which is the norm for me. Tis about all I give but the time line changes of course.

I find most players in PBEM are very patient, very few are not. In fact I would say less than 2%. No names of course

blackice, when the turn goes to taipanmike, he won't be able to do the turn until tuesday. his computer went down and he won't have his new video driver until tuesday.

you know, you are nicer than other moderators. we also are more tolerant than other groups too. I am in this one and bulletproof and both groups seem to be very understanding. We all itch to play, but we are realists about our lives. The game is fun, but sometimes life dictates to us what we will do instead of our wants. I will wait as long as the others.

I am sure most of us feel the same way about being realist's. Most of us do have lives outside Apolyton and appreciate the fact others do too

The way I see it if you want to play more often play more games. I had over 30 at one time and moderated a few. I received at least a few turns per day. I got my fill rarely missed a deadline too. I had way too much time on my hands then

The 24 rule is a good guide line it really is, it gives an objective. But like you said and I could not agree more welcome to life in the food chain. As long as I do not go to sleep and forget the game a small life's breaks here and there are part of reality.

That said if I ever do fall asleep at the wheel feel free to email me with a wake up call.

I would say we have a majority for waiting.
