hi there everybody, just came back from home, hope you had a nice xmas, i did!
don't mind about about frazer, i'll be be away again in half a day to celebrate newyearseve (tomorrow teh one from 1899 to 1900, with the royal geographic society (i presume it will become a chtulhu-larp) the day after the more recent one. see you next year (in case that earth, internet and my computer will still be here)

finally we have found other life forms on this world like our wise men have always foretelled!
we have decided to give them the name french.
unfortunately they seem not to be intelligent, but controlled by some demonish artefactum not from this world. we will have to see if they show any reactions to our attempts to bring peace and harmony to the universe, otherwise we will be forced to save the world from their existence.

Zaphod, and you thought the AI was bad!
It appears we are not alone in this world. We have met the Americans, who are led by a strange leader called "Don", whose first words were to demand 100,000 gold, without offering anything in return. This is a very curious custom of these "Americans". In our rich and complex culture we exchange gifts, for we are the people of brotherly love (Have i mentioned that, yet?). We are at one with nature and the universe, yet this "Don" person demands what we do not have.
Still, it is unfair to taint a whole race with the eccentricities of it's leader. We welcome peace with the Americans, and wish for a long and happy relationship with our nearest of neighbours

Whose turn is it now? Blue Max doesn't seem to post his turns on here any more, but i doubt Don would take any length of turn to play, so do we ask Zaphod to replay his turn and set Blue Max to AI, or his nominated reserve? Do we invoke the 24 hour rule?
BTW - who's actually playing in this game, now? I can only see turns played by Monkey, Blue Max, Zaphod, Paul, Don, and myself. Are the others now permanently in the hands of the AI? If so, should we try and find new players for those places? Nah! Let's just leave them as cannon fodder for the rest of us
