It seems that the Greeks are not the only ones on the warpath. Units of devious and deceitful Irish have thrust themselves onto the spears of a Viking Phalanx that was quietly guarding the approaches to the Viking Empire. This despite the ink from an Irish/Viking peace treaty (signed last turn) having not even been given time to dry. Justice has taken its course however, and the Irish aggressors were all slaughtered without loss of Viking troops. As no Viking lives were lost in the attack, and seeing little to be gained by either side from a war at this time, the Viking empire is willing to allow bygones be bygones, and call an early end to this ill-fated conflict. That is, if the Irish are willing to call off their aggression... Otherwise... well, the Irish have already learned the sturdiness of Viking steel.

There's been no word from Rowick for several days now. I know he was moving house some time last week, so he may have had trouble with his access after the move. Anyway, Hex passed his turn on to me and I've played it for him. Hopefully we can get back on track now.
