I liked "Interesting Times" a lot. Good stuff about revolutions and revolutionaries.

Full PM-box? Change here!

Well Paiktis already brought up the subject of balls so the truth is you probably still have bacteria on your balls from your ex-girlfriend of two years ago. They've colonized your nutsack and are now being spread to every new partner you're with. Yes, she gave you a gift which has kept on giving... or at least keeps on spreading.

P.S. to the moderators: This is a joke which fits in with the topic name so please don't ban me for it.

Tired of ads?

Vet, thanks BTW, isn't 'in search of lost times' like two million volumes long? Ever heard the Monty Python 'summarize cherchez les temps perdu' competition skit? Really good

Wombat, really good interpretations, actually - especially the 'people don't want to see it' part

BTW, Pratchett and Adams fans, have you guys tried reading Scott Adams books? They are quite pricey, but well worth it. 'The Dilbert Future' is really really good

Oh, another book you guys might like but enver heard about is 'Don't Panic', which is sort of a biography of Douglas Adams. It is really funny, and includes some of Adams early work, such as 'the kamikaze skit'. Really excellent.

I think so. the writer was some sort of nutcake, but important one. we only had to read a small part of it, named Combray IIRC. the souls who managed past first few pages are rare indeed. I never met one

mystery solved! Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

reason why paiktis cant understand nietzche is simple: greek balls (apart from being very small) arent hairy!

alas, this also proves why greeks cant understand the Truth.

and why paiktis is posting nonsense 95% of time

There is no single best classic IMO

although cirano de bergerac white nights of doskoyefksi, the books of mourselas and saturday night at the end of the city of triantafylopoulou are great. if they are not classic too bad.

Vet, a friends father is dtermined to get through the entire 'search of lost time' before he dies. He tries to read one volume per year, but IIRC, his schedule has slipped somewhat, so I thikn he has managed one volume every other year... Last time we brought up the subject, my friend claim his dad was on volume 8.... and about ten to go, I believe...

Sorry vet, despite the fact that that one's a classic, I removed the first one just to be on the safe side.

Consider it newbie moderator paranoia.

Please forgive me.

And please use a little common sense on posting other "classics"
