again, i say to you, they picked the koreans because of a long, rich history that was in conflict with china and japan. for the better part of 5000 years (as in, except for a few years under the mongols and forty under japan), korea was not only a) independent, but b) a regional power. it is also fiercely independent and unique, culture wise, and for most of history, far more advanced than japan.

Um, no need to be sarcastic. I think that the Incas deserve to be in purely on civilizational accomplishement, irrespective of geography. The geographic element just gives their case more weight.

again, i have to say this.
no, not really. yes, you've all heard of korea, the wired wonder.
but korea favors RTS games, which PTW is not. korea favors MMORPGS, which PTW is not. Firaxis won't get spectacular sales in korea. Civ3, if you want to research it, didn't sell very well in korea. PTW won't either.
don't assume that they picked korea just because you've heard they like computer games over there. they only like a specific kind-- that which can be finished quickly in a large multiplayer setting. PTW won't do that.

Firaxis should of really gone for 16 more civs instead of 8...lol All these debates over which civs should be in just wouldn't happen! 32 civs..all at each others throats should make for some major mutliplayer fun!

I never understood why the Iroquois were in and the Incas not. I'll be replacing the one with t'other as soon as I decently can.

I don't have any problem with the Koreans though and I positively demand the Arabs.

No, we'd just find even more civs that they didn't put in, and we'd still complain. Even if they put 32 more civs in the game, someone would still whine about how the Minoans or the South Africans got denied of their right to appear in the game. Never underestimate our power to complain to Firaxis about anything and everything.

Korea is a joke, Inca's should have made it before Korea. They did that for PR reasons and the korean market.
