It is now becoming very apparent to me that being absolute tyrant ruler is the most thankless of jobs. I've codled my subjects, provided them shelter from the elements, given them protection from the wild beasts of the earth. And what, pray tell, is my reward? Whine, whine, whine. It's all I hear. "But master we work too hard, and we have nothing to eat!" Sometimes it's enough to make you want to throw a few of them to the lions (hmmm....how long till Coliseums?).

Ok folks. Who's got the ball? I emailed out turn 6 on April 16th and as yet I've seen no sign of turn 7. Since posting has been rather spotty from some of the players here I have no idea who actually has the turn right now (the whole reason why I specifically asked early on that everybody please post their turns).
Whoever has the turn please pass it on and please post it.

Ok, tonight I'm putting Creator on AI and passing the turn on. I'm afraid I don't have the time to do it now as I have to leave for work in less than ten minutes. Please everybody, don't give up on this game.
Ok, it's official. I've given up on Creator and sent his turn off to John. As soon as I have time I'll do what I can to find a replacement for him but for now the AI has it. If any of you knows a potential replacement for him please bring him/her on in.

I just got an email from John telling me that when I sent the turn to him it didn't have the attachment on it. I'm not sure why this is the case because I've checked my outgoing mail and it shows the attachment was there. Anyway, I've resent the turn to him and I hope it works this time. This has been a very frustrating week for me (both here and in real life).

Krzysztof, I didn't see your turn 6 for a couple of days because it was dated 4/26/99 and went to the top of my e-mail instead of the bottom where I normally look. Your computer might have the wrong year (afraid of Y2K?).
Anyway I have re-played the turn and passed it on. I will be away from my computer until late Wednesday evening. So, don't anyone expect turn 7 from me until Thursday.
