Just spent about an hour trying to load the PBEM games and I kept getting booted out. Took me a while to realise that when they said they needed 80megs of virtual memory on hard drive THEY REALLY MEANT IT! Why couldn't they just come up with a low memory exception???

I learned the same lesson Monkey. What is also true, is that the 80 meg of free space has to be on the drive that CTP is installed on. I have three partitions on my hard drive. I always install games on D:. My C: drive, which also has the virtual memory for Win98 has a lot of free space, but D: is very full. When ever D: happens to get less than 80 Meg free, CTP won't start up.

Notice to the English. I'm glad that you have accepted the no trespass treaty. However you seem to have made another demand in a foreign language. Please tell me what you need in this thread. Note that if it is a demand for gold or technology, the Chinese government refuses to give in to such demands.

Turn to robm. Yeah CTP is indeed a picky game. If it weren't for this PBEM game I would have deleted it a while ago. I badly need the hard drive space now!

I had the same problem with the memory for a while also. I just got a new HD, so i don't worry now. but it is irritating having to diagnose where the problem is when all they have to do is say "free more memory"

I think I did reply to your border offer. If you don't remember, you will have to resend the map to me. On my latest hard drive crash I have lost all previous e-mails. I know some time has passed since the offer was made. But, as I said, I believe I replied to you approx. 1-2 weeks ago.
