Well, in the end...um, I mean, after all that, nothing happened. I met him at the hotel, we had a couple of drinks, we just gabbed for a bit, etc. Then a friend of his showed up and the three of us had a nice dinner and I went home to a very pissed-off roommate, but that's a totally different story...

EDIT: Oh, and it didn't happen because I just didn't feel right about it once there.

That, and he's also gotten a bit fat...
