Turn 119 ==> Sophix
The WISE today reports that the area around Caerphilly is now almost clear of heathen troops. Three Samarai and a Legion fell to Welsh forces earlier today, and the it is believed that the path is now almost clear to begin the counter-offensive against Rome.

Turn 120 ==> Sophix
Our Lord Demosthenes announced that three new cities have been established within the Welsh Kingdom, with another three planned very shortly.
Added to this is the imminent completion of Gutenburg's Bible, to spread the word of The Lord amongst our people, and to keep out the heresy of the Roman Empire.

Wise Australians, fear not. The only people who have to fear are those who have proved their contempt of Welsh sovereignty by unprovoked attacks.
The romans will now pay the price, but the Australians and Egyptians have both been the epitomy of courteousness and nobleness. We wish you weel and all the success in the world.
Indeed, The WISE reports that the Australians have scientific knowledge unbeknownst to the Welsh. It is obvious that your Empire is thriving, and long may it continue.

Shavlor, where have all your units gone? My troops are finding locating them more difficult tha expected. Is this because they are no longer in existence?

My my, this is a far cry from a turn a day is it not?
Who has the turn, and how long before it is played? Is it Sophix ? He did say something about having exams and what-not.

Hey Demos
Ill play the turn when I get home from work.
Actually Exams have not started yet, but Ive got three final projects due next week. And between them and work, it's hard to find time. Exam do start the week after next, actually exam weak will be better then next week, It's not the Exams that kill my time it's the damn projects
Ouch, poor Demosthenes gotta go out and find yourself a real job.
BTW whats your major?

Sophanthro, I've got until June 1st, that's my last exam. I'm a final year Politics student, and today (well yesterday now) I handed in two essays, one on political violence, and one on the French party system.
I've just got a terrorism essay, due this Monday, and after that, two group projects, one on Terrorism and one on the Third World. I only have two more exams, France and Fascism. Then it's all over. Still, I know that I'll end up working in a bar or restaurant somewhere....
So what do you do? Are you in your final year now?

Nothing much to report. I'd almost forgotten what I was doing in this game. We were at a turn per day not so long ago. What's happened?

It is definitely frustrating when you think that a few weeks ago this game was going through a turn a day, now it's one or two at best, a week.
I know that Sophix has a lot of work on at the moment. So do I, but it doesn't take that long to play a turn and send it on, right?
Reading this message, it sounds a bit snotty, Sophix, it's not intended to be insulting, so please do not take it that way. But if you're having trouble with your workload, let us know so we don't get all het up and frustrated, sound fair?

That's why we should all have designated reserves. When i go away, i just get 'em all sent to Don, whether he likes it or not . Last weekend i went away without telling anyone, because i knew no one would notice, as all of my games are crawling at the moment I check my e-mail daily, and get disappointed when i find there are no games waiting for me, even though i'm in a few.
Gee, i never thought this game was actually played in real time!!! Well, at least it feels like 7000 years to finish a game
Look at poor ol' Shavlor - he's getting smashed from pillar to post in every game i've seen him him in, but does he complain? NO! Actually, he does a bit, but the point is that he plays his turns no matter how much his armies get flogged!
Demos, just get someone else from another game to play his turn/s until we hear from him again. I'm sure he won't mind
