A horde of barbarians attacked one of my cities. Earlier they were reported to possibly be Greek forces, but their true nature was revealed during the battle. It seems that the barbarians will stoop to dishonorable and deceptive means to accomplish their aims. Apologies to the Greeks for any possible implications.

No fatalities to report - the Assyrian forces fought well.

The Assyrian nation reports that a Greek knight with their retainers and a Greek longship have been sighted in the vicinity of Arballo. Forces have been dispatched to monitor the situation. Be reminded that the Hebrew allies of the Assyrians have also been notified of the situation, and as the lands of the Hebrews borders the lands of the Greeks, we recommmend prudence on the part of the Greeks.

We are also aware of the technological differences that exist between the Greeks, Hebrews and Assyrians, and since technological exchanges are strictly forbidden in this world until turn 100, any aggressive move might prove to be fatal.
