THe government of Brazil is a Roman-style republic. Joao Cristo (John Christian) is the king. The assembly, senate, and king must support something to pass. The senate needs 60% to overcome a king's veto, the assembly needs 70%. The senate can be bypassed with 60% supporting in hte assembly. It takes 80% in the Senate to bypass the assembly. The Senators have life terms, and are elected by the senators and approved by the province. THe assembymen are elected by the people.

Canberra, Australia - Despite a vocal resistance to increased defence expenditure, the Australian government has voted to increase the Navy budget two fold, allowing it to expand its naval capacity and capability to match possible threats.

"We live in volatile times." President OzWolf stated. "Our borders are threatened daily not only by the public boat people problem but also the growing tension between the world super-powers. If we do not do something now, our forces will be obsolete when they may be needed the most."

The extra expenditure has caused minor riots in Indonesia and the Malayan Penisula as local protest groups declare that the diverted money is coming from the infrastructure support of their region. President OzWolf denies this, stating that every region in Australia has lost some revenue in the budget adjustment.

In other news, Australia has signed its first major international agreement with Mexico, entering into a Non-Agression Pact. Australia's Foreign Minister hopes that this agreement will lead to a widened trade market between the two countries.

Production on the aircraft has been completed and the first squadron has been trained. The public rejoices and throws parades all throughout Italy in honor of the newly founded airforce.
The Itallian army is now large, but the majority of it is reserves. however the 1/4 that is currently active service is highly trained, and ready for anything.

As the war against the Boer Empire increase, the Ottoman King, Baruk, feel that his country is too vulnerable to attacks.

He then decided to train more soldiers, and start building a first squad of ari fighters and bombers.

In order to get enough people involved in the military King Baruk pushed a lot into the Holy wars, fanatism (OOC: great thing being a Theocracy) and any sort of religiuos connected stuff.

Fanatics from all around the Empire start signing in the army, the navy, and the new borned air force.

To the world: Germany is not the only nation invading a neighbor, so dont single out our great country. Also, all claims about research on Russian Peasants is false [ooC: and disgusting]

To Italy: Your actions were expected. You have struck hard, but soon, a large German army will crush your soldiers on our home ground. You dont think we sent 100% of our forces into Poland? Which by the way is falling swiftly.

To the Ottomans: Germany would like to offer an olive branch, and a NAP.

To the Nations of Europe: Why dont you want a MPP with us? We do not warmonger, and after Poland, we will stop aggression.

To the World: Attacks on the Boer empire are at best pathetic. 2-3 powerful nations walking over a country like that is almost laughable. However, Germany has better things to do than save a country with a few dozen modern weapons.

To America: An American MPP (America, Mexico, Brazil) is a good idea. I say we go ahead and do it. (Since Brazil's not lead by a person, and we were allied, we can say that they join our alliance.) Oh, and I have an idea for partitioning The Boer Empire: you (America) gets the top 1/3, us (Mexico) gets the middle 1/3, and Brazil gets bottom 1/3.

German forces complete invasion of Poland!

In what has been called the swiftest attack in history, German troops have crushed the last resistance of the Kingdom of Poland. The [former] Polish foreign Minister signed a 'Peace deal' with Berlin today, essentially making the occupation formal. The Polish Royal Family fled to Russian Latvia a few days before the occupation of Warsaw. German diplomats have said that they can return without harm, but sources indicate that the Court will move to a more permanent home in the Russian province Lithuania, which has offered 'refuge.' A Polish politician commented, "There they will continue their lavish lifestyle, while their people suffer under the heel of oppresion from Fritz. Most of the Senators and I will stay here in Poland." The man wished to remain anonymous, for obvious reasons.
