Oh my yes. Plenty of pathology specimens for everyone. You name a cancer, we'll have it: small cell, squamous (your choice of mouth, throat, or lung), adeno, transitional cell (for you bladder afficianados), and many others. We'll also have atherosclerotic plaque appetitizers, occluded coronary salad, and an end-stage emphysema dessert that is to die for.
Lauren--quit now, while you're young. Do not wait another day. Approximately 85% of smokers started in their teen years--they hook you when you're young, and spend the rest of your life slowly killing you (and those around you). About 25% of all deaths in this country can be attributed to tobacco.
Quit now. Your long-term health will improve. You will also immediately experience improvements in your health and well-being: fewer colds, food will taste better, you'll be able to exercise more.
You will also stop looking like a complete and total fool.

I work in a hospital where about 50% of the nursing staff smokes. Your wasting your time trying to convince others to stop.
Fewer colds? Very rarely do I get colds.
Food will taste better? I work in a hospital, I don't really WANT to be able to taste the food.
Able to exercise more? You mean if I quit, I'll actually WANT to exercise?
