Matty,

moderator popularity polls are more like a classic issue to have a poll on. It's a way to rate if people are pleased with the mods. The only problem is that no one seems to give credits to Dan for his backstage work. Am I still the only one?

Solver didn't frighten me at all. I don't watch X Files and I thought it was maybe what he looked like.

Ok, this post isn't going to make a whole lot of sense.

I voted Ming, because his moderatorship generates some extremely entertaining threads in this forum from people returning from vacation.

Question for Ming - Whatever happened to that black & white pic and why did you change? (mostly because that one looked much more sinister)

(btw, I'm one of those extremely rare Polyposters who has never been on vacation or had a PCR or even gotten a warning.)

I originally changed it to the Kermit the Frog in Suit Avatar because of a running gag in the Civ II MP Forum.
When the joke had run it's course, I just wanted to come back with something different, and in color

I used several locations for finding pictures on Ming the Merciless, but I guess at least several of the black and white ones were from the site mentioned by Qilue.

I have a whole folder full of Flash Gordon/Ming sites. There are many great pictures to choose from. I also have the old serials on DVD as well as the Newer Movie if I need to capture even more pictures
