I was hoping you and makeo would cancel each other out and I would win - which would have been a joint Horse finbar win because we have been helping each other all game.

But unfortunately Makeo was no certainty to take you out when you offered that massive one turn opportunity so it fell to me to do you in - even though I had very minimal troops and was engaged in peaceful development.

So I did what was necessary but in the end you and I cancelled each other out and makeo was the beneficiary.

Oh well - that's civ
