Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Aggie could not make a better campaign that this poll. Why not hear Ninots call to legality and regularize Aggie as an elected SMC ? Meantime he will handle the office as deputy SMC.

We dont know how the wars will actually turn out; surprises could occur on the German or the Persian front ; we need on the spot a fully empowered SMC.

I realized that I voted yes (because Aggie did really a great job), but we ALSO need an elected SMC.

We are not in danger of loosing our SMC, we have already lost him ; that is the meaning of Ubers message. It would do no harm that Aggie goes on a few days as he currently does, then be elected SMC. That's a bit formal, but we are playing a democracy game. As one says : Democracy has a cost !

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Can't we do both? Give him power of acting SMC until the end of a 3 day election. If it was set up now, he wouldn't actually have to do the job unelected for more than 1 turnchat/thread, and he'd only be carrying on as he is at the moment.

Increase Your PM Length

I have PMed Uber asking for his agreement with this. I hope to get a word from him in a day or so, but if not then we may do without a formal SMC for one more set of turns, then I will post a poll on conferring full powers to Aggie. I would do it now but I'd rather do my utmost to keep the Ministers in the know and happy with what I do.
