If you don't like it, I'm sure that Turkey would love to switch places for a while. I'm sure they won't ***** nearly as much.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Ahh the EU. A bunch of weak and pathetic nations without identity trying to associate themselves with some kind collectiv strength.

No Union like that will ever hold together.

See unless your like america and have some freakin nationalism and not be so damn boring

That doesnt mean there shouldnt be a united political union and keep us yanks from going crazy on stuff like Iraq.

It just means you shouldnt meddle in one anothers sovriegnty or make a contintental army of any sorts. Greece is a small peaceful country, ive been there. I just want to know why it associates itself with a middle-European organization that seeks more international influence and more power over the citizens of Europe.

I suspect people knew the Euroflation issue was coming. But kept it under raps. Its not a terribly big deal for Germans or dutch who have a higher income in the first place.

The best way to go is a nationwide strike. Get your wages increased. Truth be told its probably not the retailers who spiked the prices to take advantage of things. Its probably more to do with whole-sale distribution companies from Asia, America and such. Who took advantage of the European situation.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

I think you're a DL but anyway,

no it was actually the retailers that spiked the prices. See the coins we used to have were 100 drachmas and now it's up to 2 euroes which is like 660 drachmas. noone took care of the psychological effect of that, and retailers spkied'em to get a quick buck and all these things.

as to why Greece is in the EU, some people thought it would be good for Greek interests. It is to an extend.
