Only this time, the tribe was not willing to listen to my men. The tribe was on the path of war, only a few women and no children. The men were all armed, and they wore a green standard.

Hi there. I am pleased to play with you all. Are there any special rules that I should know about? Who is playing what civ and with whom? Some things I could learn from the posts but I suppose you started with some overview of it all?

Traveling with light-speed to my new kingdom at this very moment. Curious about what I will find and how easy it will be to take over control of this new world. Instead of being conquered every other nation present in this world is invited to become part of our great nation. Just hit the button surrender and I will provide you with a well payed job in my new empire.

Only a couple of "special" rules...

You are allied with your partner "to the death", so´it's a good idea to get in contact and plan strategy.
Tech transfers can only start one all civs have encountered ther partner. So no tech transfer until all paired partners have posted that htey have met their counterpart.

All turns are sent to BOTH partners, and if you haven't played your turn whthin 12 hours, your partner has the right to play it (ie is's ok to open your partner's turn and see what he's up to as well.)

After 24 hours, your turn can be "nexted" by the previous player....

Thank you for the information.

I am playing in another game with Arthur (Teamhorses). He posted there that he had a fatal computer accident and hopes to be back on-line Monday (5-feb) or Tuesday (6-feb).

Unless they are removed immediately, my first action will be to destroy those nine war walkers in front of my capital. To accomplish that I have ordered my generals (using smoke signals, I have yet to meet them) to sent our complete army of war warriors to the spot. You should know king Thor that each of our ...... (whatever civilization I play) war warriors are worth a lot more than 9 of your war walkers. The name of the units speak for themselves, right?

After a long journey and with the help of the Mayans, I finally reached my Kingdom. It was certainly worth the travelling.

My orders regarding the disposal of the nine war walkers in front of my capital were, it seems, fully executed without any losses on our side (or did King Thor lie????. Nae, I don't think he would or would he?).

I was very pleased to see the military strength of and discipline in the Inka army. At a meeting with my generals I ordered them to draw up plans to fully exploit this special asset.

I noticed some puny civilization on one of our borders. We will sent an ambassador to order them to sent some gifts (I like presents).

The governors all seem to do well so it is time for me to have a well earned 24 hour sleep. After that I will start looking around for a queen. Oh, and I will have to do something about the ranking that does not seem to reflect the might of our nation at all (I hope). But that's for tomorrow. There is a time for everything and now its time to rest from our long journey.
