Maybe I do have infiltration and I just want you to think I do. Or maybe I don't have it and I want you to think that I have it... we'll see
Actually in the interest of fairness you should have received a notification if I had infiltrated you... I will tell you in all honesty I don't have infiltration... I am just guessing about your troop movements. But this lack of infiltration is making long term planning tough when I don't know the number, composition, or location of your forces.

Infiltration notification is not given by the game in PBEM play, nor does any rule set with which I am acquainted require it to be given. Interesting thought...I wonder how the community would react to the suggestion of requiring the giving of notice of infiltration to the general rules sets.

You could justify it either way... it seems silly that a player gets notified whenever a spy performs a covert action on you... you should get notification when their spies FAIL to perform a covert op on you and you catch them. On the other hand notification is received in SP and IP games.

I am one of the most mediocre military strategists there is in this game, but I have still survived despite my many blunders, and my forecast for the future is improved without the prospect of Mongoose stealing Morgan's tech in a few years.
