Genetics works in even fractions, not odd. And no, Scotland IS NOT part of Britain. Ignoring semantics, and the many names of the land of the Brits, the United kingdom consists of four parts: England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Treaties united the former three and I don't know how N.Ireland came into the picture. Saying Scotland is part of Britain and therefore the same thing as Britain is like saying California is the same as Texas. Politically united, but culturally different in both cases.
