Time, mainly. Although... we could:

Have two 1 on 1s, with 1 member playing his opposite number. The combined score at the end will be the team total

Increase Your PM Length

quote:
RC posted this on 21-9The turn you count is the x9 turn. You look at the bottom of the powergraph, and the number on the right should be 9, 19, 29, etc. It will show the same for all players in that turn. You are probably looking at turn 20 by the wound of your question.

This mistake made me think about turn 9, when you said you had just edged me out. Sure enough, the powergraph shows me ahead on turn 9 (you will have to revise the table for this result too), and you ahead on turn 10.

Do you have the saves? (The 9th and 19th turns?) I will send them to you if you haven't, but otherwise, you check, and I'm ahead on both.

What game is being discussed above? Redbull, you're not posting any results for your games... this is throwing a monkey-wrench in me trying to make a graph...

I'm going through in an attempt to make a graph... below are the results I've gathered so far from the thread though if everybody could look at them and say if they're right or not, I'd appreciate it.

Player 1 +/- & Player 2 +/- (Turn *9)

berXpert +1 & RC -1 (9)
berXpert +1 & Milamber -1 (9)
berXpert +1 & RC -1 (19)
david42one +1 & phoenixcager -1 (9)
Hatschy +1 & FlameFlash -1 (9)
david420ne +1 & checkmate -1 (9)
david420ne +1 & checkmate -1 (19)
Hatschy +1 & checkmate -1 (9)
Grumpy Old Men: LungerMilamber +1 RC/Geoff -1 (9)
FlameFlash +1 & checkmate -1 (9)
david42one +1 & phoenixcager -1 (19)
berXpert +1 & Milamber -1 (19)
david420ne -1 & checkmate +1 (29)
Hatschy +1 & checkmate -1 (19)
david420ne +1 & checkmate -1 (39)
berXpert +1 & Milamber -1 (29)
berXpert +1 & RC -1 (29)

chadcoffman +1 & phoenixcager -1 (9)
berXpert +1 & Milamber -1 (39)

berXpert +1 & RC -1 (39)
Hatschy +1 & FlameFlash -1 (19)
FlameFlash -1 & checkmate +1 (19)
berXpert +1 & Milamber -1 (49)
berXpert +1 & RC -1 (49)
quote:
geoff +1 & lunger -1 (149)
Where are the rest of the turn rankings
quote:
geoff +1 & lunger -1 (129)

quote:
geoff +1 & lunger -1 (139)

Where'd those come from!?
chadcoffman -1 & Geoff +1 (19)
berXpert +1 & Milamber -1 (59)
david42One +?? & phoenixcager -?? (28) How many points +/- should a win like that be worth?
phoenixcager +1 & chadcoffman -1 (19)
david420ne +1 & checkmate -1 (59)
Hatschy +1 & checkmate -1 (59)
chadcoffman +1 & berXpert -1 (9)

There are a lot of discrepencies from the table and the turns reported... where else can I find this info... or should I just run with what I've got? Or should I save this idea for when the next season comes in about a year?

Hey guys,

Perhaps we should start a thread that simply consists of one post for each player. Each player is then responsible for editing their post to report all *9 turns and a total record. Then the standings can simply be built/checked/reviewed by looking at everyone's post. This will also allow people to review progress in each game and highlight any discrepancies quickly. For example, my post would read:

vs. PhoenixCager

Turn 9: Chad ahead
Turn 19: PhoenixCager ahead

vs. Geoff

Turn 9: Chad ahead
Turn 19: Geoff ahead

vs. BerXpert

Turn 9: Not reached yet

2x2 vs David42one&Hatchsy:

Turn 9: Not reached yet

Total Record:

2 points won, 2 points lost

I would then just edit this post after every *9 turn.

I agree - each player needs to report ALL *9 turns up until now for each game so that we have all scores reported there. Redbull - let us know what you think of this idea.

What about a log like this:

Hatschy vs. FlameFlash
0000000000111...
0123456789012...
1112212211121...
2221121122212...

where each column reflects the power graph ranking at some *9 turn, row 1 and row 2 are for counting the columns (there is no need for a third row for counting I guess ), row 3 tells who was first in the power graph, row 4 is for the second and so on (the above is only an example - only column 1 and 2 have happened so far, hopefully the 3rd row will read 11111... at the end ).

What I tried to describe is just a short form for a table like that

Turn009019029...
Rank 1Player 1Player 3Player 2...
Rank 2Player 2Player 2Player 3...
...

but easier to edit (for the thread proposed by Chad): Just append a column when the match gets to its next *9 turn.

However, we are working hard here at something that

Milamber and I have started a 1 vs. 1 match.

Redbull, I'd like to take this opportunity to say thanks for all of the effort you're putting into this. It is really adding enjoyment to the game.

A quick suggestion because you said you wanted feedback- everyone I have played against has wanted to be able to use ruins. Maybe we should vote on changing that? Just a thought

Thank you all for the kind words about my efforts They are really appreciated

Also, I'd like to thank some of you who have put effort into improving the system. That too is well appreciated

I think Hatschy's idea would be a grand idea, coupled together with Chad's one. I shall start a new thread ASAP!

Check, sorry for my lack of activity recenty. I have exams coming up at Uni, so thats taking up 90% of my spare time.

David, ruins are allowed if both players agree. Some prefer it to be fairer, but it is entirely up to you.
