Your team-mate chadcoffman has already done that. He challenged David42one/Hatschy (at least he thought "it makes sense", see the "PBEM Challenges" thread). I talked to David and we kindly accept your challenge . We just need to agree on the settings for that match. Personally I don't have any special preferences .

Do you guys care if we use the settings for PBEM Mod Lite:

Features
--------
8 predefined advances: Agriculture, Toolmaking, Mining, Domestication, Bronze Working, Stone Working, Religion and Ship Building.
1 bonus discovery randomly selected between Astronomy, Theocracy, Monarchy, Geometry, Iron Working and Writing.
3 free caravans.
3 settlers with increased movement by 9, totaly 10, only for the first turn. After that turn the settlers' bonus movement will stop existing.
10.000 gold and 5000 infrastructure (public work).
1st city to be built within the first 5 turns will grand population of 3, bonus good within the city tile, 2 phalanx, 1 mounted archer and 1 settler.
2nd & 3rd cities to be built within the first 5 turns will grand population of 2, 2 phalanx, 1 warrior and 1 settler.

Added rule: No attack on first turn

Everyone please chime in whether you are okay with this, then I will launch. I will put David42one second in line, Hatch third, and checkmate last to balance things out.

I think the way this should be accomplished is through sharing maps via the game. I think having multiple copies of the games floating around could cause confusion. I'm not devoted to this position though.

Okay guys, Redbull has nixed the idea of PBEM mod lite. Therefore, I will start our 2x2 game with regular challenge settings and in the order specified by Redbull. Let me know if there are any objections. I will launch the game tomorrow with Redbull as moderator (if that is okay with him).

Redbull... in both of my 1x1 challenges it was agreed upon to use the Mod lite... what's wrong with it? Why would it be bad to have even if some of the games weren't started with it? Everybody still starts out balanced.

true it's easier... but then it also means that there's more competition... a bad starting place can be counteracted thanks to the Mod lite whereas a good one simply means you get to take advantage of it sooner and a medium one there really aren't any advantages for anybody except that you get more cities...
