I apologize for this delayed response, but it has been a busy month of more pressing matters both on-and-off-site. This does not mean that we do not feel that this issue is important; rather, other issues demanded priority and indeed some are still ongoing.

Because of the said busy schedule, no exact timeline on this smiley's implementation can be confirmed at this time. That said, it is hoped that "The Poly Smiley Band" image will become an 'official' Apolyton smiley within the next two weeks.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Which reminds me, i saw today that ixnay has suggested in an OT thread to divide the smilie to components (ie, drummer and guitars). This could be cool too, since we could make endless arrangements

No, I believe the original was the red one, sans hat: the 7-Up Dot. There was a 7-Up Dot game for the XT (ie, 15 years ago) that was actually kinda fun.
