dregman mailed me, that he can probably play on sunday(tomorrow) .I can play tomorrow nearly the whole day.
@dregman/mazz: Please post, at what time you can play exactly. Or, when you can not play, post asap that you can not, so that we perhaps can start even earlier.

If we can not manage to start our game5 this weekend, I only want to be a reserve player for other games, because I do not want to delay the whole tournament, since the start date has been 2 weeks ago and we had 3 weekends in that.

Scooter and me are playing this afternoon (testgame) 17:00 (5pm) german time.

Can I sugget you boys put your times in GMT and keep to quoting all times in GMT. Sometimes people push all the time conversion work onto the other players it seems, and only focus on their local time. It's a team effort, we've gotta all work together to pull this tournament off.

Loc can get it started, but it's up to us to keep it rolling.

Sorry Shadow, but all our game members are in CET, so I thougt, the others aren't interested anyway.

By the way, our match started (game 5, with dregman, scooter and me) a little delayed, but it started. Don't rember how much turns, but we played nearly 2 hours. Luckily, the AI with the greatest army has attitude peacekeeper (as dregman told us). According to the powergraph, we are all worse than the AI's, but we are working hard and we have no war so far.

We obviously only had some problems with restart after a diner break.

@dregman. btw, scooter told me, he could play today from 8:30 pm on (that is 7:30 GMT). And you?

Fun game, certainly. But one of the strangest games I've ever played. Going from SP to MP is an adjustment, no question. Not to mention I'm not a big fan of max-diverse terrain. I guess it keeps one player from starting out in totally crap position while the others are sitting pretty, since its all diverse, but this dessert next to ice patch next to swamp squares is making life difficult for me.

This is my first MP game, but as I see it there's no way around war. I don't know how you can win in diplomacy or science without at least some fighting. It's just a question of whether its going to be sooner or later. I don't want to speak for the others, but it seems its human nature to crush the AI first, then turn your swords to the other players. But .... like Shadow said, I'm keeping an eye out on these boys as well. Who knows what they're plotting

Both myself and Toni started off strong and I gather we were both able to trade science somewhere along the line. I think Arsenal ended up with less than hospitable terrain and had large chunks of ice to deal with, and so was a bit handicapped in that respect.

No wars between human players, although we were eyeing each other off from time to time. I crushed the Germans rather quick, and I think the French and English were soon to follow.

A good game, just a shame we couldn't finish.

Mapfi, are you enterting Apolyton with http://apolyton.net/forums/ or with the ip address? It doesnt download attachments when you enter with the ip.
